Marriages are made in heaven. It also remains true, that the seeds are sown in every single step of life- be it at the temples, school corridors or even Facebook. (In this era of digitization, we have to acknowledge this as well). This is a story of two people who had known each other since they set foot in school. They left school and parted ways.
Eight years later, Facebook played the facilitator between Vivek and Sansriti. He was from the South although he had been living in Delhi for long. The girl, Sansriti was an out and out Northie.
A few more days later. The stage is a Mandir in Saket on Shivratri day. Akin to a Bollywood film scene, our man, Vivek spotted his school friend. He immediately gave her a call and in not less than two minutes, they met. Old friendships were rekindled. The cute and adorable Sansriti struck a chord with Vivek. Little did they know that this was the beginning of a four year long love affair that would ultimately result in marriage. They continued to have conversations which would eventually lead him to propose via a text message. Vivek being very shy, he felt that it would be better to propose in writing than in person. When he admitted, “I like you”, Sansriti was so overwhelmed and surprised, she thought he was just kidding. She actually said, “Naaah!”. But as luck would have it, different things were in store. The two met a few times after this and love blossomed between the adorable Sansriti and Vivek. They dated for 4 years till marriage arrived on the cards.
Vivek and Sansriti, after knowing each other for 14 long years got engaged on March 23rd, 2014. The venue was Patio Club, Nirvana. The event was the most memorable occasion, a wonderful start to their pre-nuptial days. With 11 months left for the D-day, they were enthusiastic in picking out the best for their wedding. A romantic pre-wedding shoot at Agra was just the start for the two love birds.
The bridal dress was handmade, pure-silk, dabka work, zardozi work, crystal work, thread work was done on the dress, so it took almost 3 months to design the dress. But the efforts paid off and our cutest bride looked stunning on the wedding day. The Jewelry came from Mehra Sons in Karol Bagh. On February 5' 2015, 11 months after their engagement, the beautiful couple tied the knot at The Uppal Resort, New Delhi. A culmination of 14 years of knowing each other, the day was nothing short of the most imperative moment in their lives.
On her makeup artist (Mehak), this is what Sansriti had to say, “ Vivek is not a great fan of makeup, but even he loved it on the wedding day. Family-Friends all appreciated! The artist was very humble, patient, and gave me a different look. Mehak came before me, and stayed with me till I left the room.” Now we know the secret behind her cute doll-like look on her D day. Mehak (Makeup Artist) on the Bride (Sansriti), She is the sweetest bride I have come across so far. She has left all things at me, and said she wants to look the most natural on her wedding day. I loved putting makeup on her and the way she carried bold lipstick with a beautiful smile.
A combined Mehandi Function (with guests from both families) took place on 4th February at E-Club, Chhattarpur
Bhagyashree (Bugzy's Photography) and the Bride (Sansriti) are school friends. She said, Sansriti is the most adorable person, she has ever got a chance to work with. She has the perfect look for the camera and I loved flashing her.
The wedding photographer (Bhagyashree) who arranged all the pre-wedding shot and captured each and every moment of this couple’s life was also praised by the couple. They thanked him for making every moment memorable and captured for them to relish it later. View Profile
The new life after marriage is something the couple has taken very easily. Since Sansriti was constantly interacting with Vivek’s parents, even before marriage, it wasn’t hard at all learning to embrace them as well. They may be from two parts of the country, but their hearts and minds were united by the common bond of love and trust.
Sansriti and Vivek would like to thank their families, especially their parents and grandparents, for helping them fulfill this dream and for being with them at every step. They also want to thank their friends and family, especially to Shubham, Suman, Ankit, Sunoor, Pratyush and Kintu for making this day more special and memorable!!
We wish our adorable bride Sansriti & Vivek a very happy & blissful married life. May you shine & smile always!!
