One of the biggest weddings of the '2020 Lockdown Period' is finally taking place today. And we're beyond excited!

After the South Indian heartthrob Rana Daggubati got rokafied to his sweetheart Miheeka Bajaj, we've eagerly been waiting for the wedding bells to ring and the time is finally here! Set to be married on the evening of 8th August, the dynamic duo held their pre-wedding functions on 7th and 8th August. The Haldi and Mehendi ceremonies were marked with a lot of finely decorated (and colour coordinated) decor, their closet of friends and families and a couple who were not just dressed to impress but also lost in each other's eyes in the most adorable way possible!

#BAJaoeD: Rana & Miheeka's Fun-Filled Pre-Wedding Ceremonies

Haldi Ceremony Where Bride Wore a Custom Made Cowrie Shell Jewellery

Taking place at the Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad, the pre-wedding functions started with a quaint haldi ceremony. The bride wowed us all in a gorgeous golden yellow lehenga with a Gota Patti border by designer Anand Kabra. Paired with light makeup and open hair, Miheeka also wore custom made cowrie shell matha patti, chandelier earrings and kadas by Arpita Mehta. The decor was a sublime mix of yellow and green, with elements of flora present everywhere.

Colourful Mehendi Ceremony Where Miheeka Stunned Us in Raspberry Pink Jacket Lehenga

The Mehendi ceremony also took place at the same venue, with the decor switching from bright yellow to shades of pink, mauve and lavender. According to the decorators, Bling Mushrooms, the Mehendi setup was very dainty, delicate and minimalistic synonymous with the bride's personality, making it a visual treat for everyone present.

For the bridal ensemble, Miheeka was dressed in a beautiful raspberry pink hand-embroidered jacket and lehenga by Arpita Mehta. On the other hand, her jewellery from Krsala Jewellery, consisting of a maangtikka encrusted with polkis and pearls in 18karat gold, along with jhumkas made with Russian emeralds, pink tourmalines and polkis in 22 karat gold, completed her look.
