After meeting each other in an arranged setup, Sakshi and Varun parted but only to come back together and solemnize their love in a lavish Dubai wedding. Filmy, isn’t it? Well, not just their love story but their wedding soiree was also nothing less than an extravagant Bollywood flick. With prominent personalities like Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Kriti Kharbanda and Rajat Sharma among others on the guest list, Sakshi and Varun’s wedding was truly a star-studded affair. And mind you, that’s not the only gush-worthy thing about their extravagant revelries.

Their opulent wedding took place at the luxuriant Jumeirah, Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi and was bundled with oodles of inspiration! Right from breathtaking bridal outfits, larger-than-life decor with personalized touches, Arabian-themed elements and guests soaring temperatures with their glam sartorial choices—this wedding has our hearts for all right reasons.

Exuberant Wedding Ceremonies of Sakshi & Varun

Vibrant and voguish pool party

Sakshi and Varun’s wedding extravaganza started with a pool party that got everyone drenched in gobs of fun and water (of course). With water drummers, beer pong, quirky photo props to Caribbean dancers and life-size Jenga—the pool party was one helluva fun affair that was packed with endless entertainment options for the guests and kids. The fun and colourful decor was yet another note-worthy highlight of this event. The beachside area was brought to life with sunny yellow and aqua blue drapes, some really playful signages, painted drums used as unique decoration elements, a multi-hued ceiling, vibrant photo backdrop and colourful seating arrangements.

Complementing the aesthetics of the party, bride Sakshi turned up in a light blue and fuschia pink blouse with an asymmetrical skirt by Papa Don’t Preach. The stunning bride paired the ensemble with statement earrings and went with half-tied hair adorned with baby breaths. The groom kept it casual and picked a blue checkered blazer and teamed it up with a white shirt and maroon pants.

A sassy and groovy Sangeet

Sangeet ceremony followed the pool party. Friends and family members dressed in their stylish best indulged in a night full of dance and celebration. Sakshi dazzled in a yellow and golden lehenga set by Shantanu and Nikhil and fashioned the overall look with open wavy hair and heavy jewellery. Whereas, Varun looked dapper in a blue indo-western attire.

Krayonz Entertainment made umpteen arrangements to ensure the comfort of guests, and their hospitality was appreciated by one and all. DJs, bartenders, dancers and dreamy décor added a touch of magic to the entire function. Note-worthy elements like rickshaw glass holders, injection shots further swooned our hearts.

The night even saw breathtaking performances by the close family members on the magnificent stage. Everyone even burst into laughter when some handsome hunks went on the stage for a dhoti draping competition and then shook their legs wearing those colourful dhotis.

The luxuriant wedding 

The D-day began with a haldi ceremony for the groom and a chooda ceremony for the bride. The groom wore a white kurta set and sat against a vibrant yellow drape backdrop. Whereas, Sakshi looked simple yet gorgeous in a yellow suit paired with magenta dupatta. We love how her offbeat jewellery and princessy braid uplifted the glam factor. Sakshi's bridesmaids including actress Kriti Kharbanda tied pretty kaleeras embellished wth ghunghroo and dainty pearls.

Looking dapper AF in an ice-blue sherwani paired with a peach dupatta, Varun made a royal entry in a spectacular Rolls Royce and danced his heart out with the Baraatis. On the other hand, the ever smiling bride took our breaths away with her unconventional bridal look in a peach lehenga created by by Jade by Monica and Karishma. Donning a natural makeup look with drool-worthy diamond jewellery, Sakshi looked like a dream while walking the aisle under a mogra phoolon ki chaadar. The couple took vows under a minimal mandap setup against a picturesque backdrop formed by sea and sky. Star-studded Arabian night

The couple wrapped their wedding revelries on a rather starry note with Bollywood biggies like Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Bobby Deol in attendance. Woah! The wedding vows were followed by one of a kind Arabian Night themed reception party which was nothing less than a magnum celebration with a lavish decor, arabian style seating arrangements, live music and dance performances. Krayonz Events left no stone unturned to turn their wedding into an exuberant extravaganza.
