When food plays cupid, the best kinda love stories are cooked! And that’s exactly the case behind Ashna and Brett’s gush-worthy relationship. It was love at first sight for Ashna who met Brett four years ago at his place for a dinner with her friends. She was absolutely smitten by Brett’s snicker-doodle cookie and what followed was a hearty proposal on a beach in Japan (in 2017) which eventually led to this breathtakingly beautiful wedding held at the opulent Taj Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad.

Renowned decorator Dinaz Noria turned the wedding into a fairytale with her aesthetic finesse and the skilled team of Naman Verma Photography ensured that every hearty element (and moment) has been perfectly locked in beautiful snapshots. But what makes us fall harder for this wedding is the sheer love, multi-cultured bonding and pure emotions that are evident in the photographs. There's an endearing touch of personalization as well, the couple wrote hand-written letters for each of their guests! Sweet isn't it? What more, you ask? Gorgeous Wedding Ceremonies of Ashna & Brett

Traditional & Warm Haldi

Ashna and Brett's wedding shenanigans kicked off with a traditional Haldi ceremony in the outdoor spaces of Taj Falaknuma Palace which were beautifully brought to life with a splendid decor for Ashna and Brett's Haldi ceremony. Featuring yellow fresh flowers, marigold-covered massive bells a and a picturesque floral backdrop, the decor was beyond beautiful and perfectly aligned with the quintessence of Haldi ceremony.

For the outfits, the bride made a heartwarming choice and clad herself in her grandmother's ivory and red saree. Whereas, Brett looked effortlessly elegant in a mint green kurta set. The entire ceremony was all about laughs, sentiments, cultural bonding and of course, lots of fun!

Zesty Mehendi

The pool-side mehendi ceremony was one vibrant affair for which the venue was decked up with decent yet colourful decor elements. Bright-hued drapes, a simplistic bride seating arrangement adorned with Rajasthani elephant hangings and some pretty floral settings lent perfect mehndi vibes. And oh, how can we miss the bride's stunning bright yellow Anita Dongre lehenga with statement gota patti work. She kept the styling simple and paired the lehenga with heavy earrings, sunnies, open straight tresses and a nude makeup look.

Starry Cocktail Party

Everyone danced the night away in the gorgeously decorated open environs of Taj Falaknuma Palace. The quirky entrance and colourful lights set the mood right for a joyous night that witnessed multiple grand dance performances on the larger-than-life stage. Talking about the couple's outfit choices for this glitzy night, Ashna shimmered in a midnight blue lehenga with heavy golden work and a tasselled dupatta design, Brett complemented his bride well in a blue bandi with embroidered collars.

Serene Wedding with a scintilating mandap

Dressed in a light blue and baby pink lehenga with golden details by Shyamal Bhumika, the bride was truly a vision to behold. Decked up with heavy and magnetising jewellery, and a naturally flushed makeup with bold lips, Ashna’s bridal look instantly tugged at our hearts. But the groom was not much behind either! He made a classy sartorial choice and stunned in a classy ivory quilted sherwani and paired it with a multi-layered pearl necklace and a peach dupatta.

The groom made a dashing entry riding a horse with his clan of Baraatis who danced their hearts out in the joy of Ashna and Brett's wedding!

The pristine decor was purely the most unmissable element of Ashna and Brett’s wedding. Held indoors, the venue was decked up with cascading elements like florals and crystal strings, in the hues of white and greens, to create a majestic yet elegant setup. It is probably the most magnetising indoor mandap setup that we’ve spotted of late. One look of it, and you will be smitten too!

Our favourite part of their nuptials was the touch of personalisation they added to the D-day! Both Ashna and Brett spent significant time writing their personalised wedding vows. And that’s not all, they even wrote hand-written letters to every guest who attended the wedding and left those notes in their hotel room along with a basket of some yummy Indian snacks. Now that's what we call thoughtful wedding favours!
