Weddings are the time where all your close and distant relatives come together to have a gala time and some of them will surely be out of town guests. Busy with our own things and running behind the caterer, decorator or either market, we tend to forget to focus on our guests who have come for the wedding to make it even more special and happening. So, here we are to give you some tips to keep your out of town guests happy and updated.
Take responsibility for their commuting
Generally out of town guests do not get their own cars and so transportation is a big issue in general. Try making an informative plan about the shuttle or cab services that can be available from the venue of their accommodation. Keep them at ease by also taking some extra efforts for their city mapping, commuting, as this will surely make an impression that they do matter to you.
Hire an in-house make-up artist
For the guests that are coming to attend the wedding, the vital thing to keep in mind is arranging a makeup artist for the guests where they are staying or alert them to good salons around. This will help them get their things sorted and help to reach on time and there will be no last moment hush-hush.

Focus on sparing some family time
The ceremonies will not go for the whole day, mostly in the days the guests would be free. Try chalking out with your wedding planner to arrange some fun activities or excursions for them in the area around. Make them feel at home and try keeping them entertained and get to hear—"This was an amazing wedding"
Provide a handy itinerary
You can’t go knocking on the doors informing each guest about the sequence of the function, its venue, and everything related to the event. Make sure theirs a handy booklet of events placed in every room so that it’s simple for you and your out of town guests to co-ordinate. Add a personal touch to it and make your guests feel that you are glad that they made it to your happiness.
Provide a small necessity basket
Obviously, you don’t want to get charged for petty things that your guests order via room service. Make a basket of basic necessary things such as water bottle, biscuits and other necessary food or medicine items. This would ease the flow of managing things and also your guests would not go running to the reception desk for tiny things.
