Just In: This Hand Embroidered Wedding Invite is Our New Favourite

Anupriya Khanna, 10 Jul 2019

Wedding invites are no more the same old paper cards enclosed in envelopes, communicating the mandatory date, time, venue, the couple’s name, etc. They are getting prettier, quirkier and a lot more creative with each passing year. And we’ve pretty much shown you that by introducing the best of the best!

Time and again, we’ve bombarded you with some really extraordinary wedding invitation styles like the jigsaw puzzle design, the film canister insert, the toolbox invite and various others with artistic details. So when this super impressive sewing-box invite recently caught our fancy, we knew we had finally found something fresh & irresistibly pretty for all the 2019 to-be-wed couples to count on for their wedding!

Curated by the ace wedding invitation designer, Pink Whistle Man for the actress turned politician, Nusrat Jahan and her loving beau Nikhil Jain, this Sewing-box invite was a beautiful depiction of where it all began for the lovely couple.

Read on to check out the design and know more interesting details!

A never-seen-before Embroidered Wedding Invite in a Sewing box

The couple first met on a modelling assignment for Nikhil’s clothing brand and to bring in its essence in their wedding invite, nothing could be more suitable than having it themed around CLOTHES. So, Ranjani Iyengar (the creative mind behind the Pink WhistleMan) did just that and crafted a personalized cross-stitch themed sewing box wedding invite for the couple with all things fancy.

Here's a closer look at this fun invite!

The Cute & Compact packaging in Blush Pink

Scrumptious Button-shaped Cookies

Crocheted Bands and Decorative Silk Threads

The Sewing-box themed invite was inclusive of a lot of beautiful elements. There were cross-stitched embroidery frames that beautifully brought out the respective themes and details of the wedding functions. The intricate craft of these frames beautifully defined the subtlety of Nikhil's Saree business, whereas the sketches on each of these frames brought out Nusrat's artist side. Cutesy elements like crocheted bands, button-shaped cookies and decorative thread further added some more elegance to this wedding invite.

Well, we are completely rooting for this wedding invite and would recommend all the to-be-wed couples to give it a look!
