When a cult wedding photographer gets married, the biggest concern is who would take over the lens to capture all the gorgeousness with as much perfection. So was the situation with Kolkata-based wedding photographer - Saurabh Rungta. While he was daunted by the thoughts of not being able to capture the beauty of his own wedding, his team of great photographers put his anxiety at ease by capturing his precious moments just how he wanted to capture them. And oh boy, it turned out so well!

Nestled in the hills of Kurseong, Darjeeling and exquisitely planned by Novem events, Saurabh & Khushboo's wedding was an ultimate fusion of all things pretty. It not only contained breathtaking views, a couple dressed in high-end designer outfits and fanciful decor, but also some lovable furry guests. Yes, the couple solemnized their love amidst the presence of their cute little doggos & closed ones and we just can't take our eyes off!

High-Spirited Wedding Revelries of Saurabh & Khushboo

The Upbeat Mehndi

Staying true to the effervescent vibes of a Mehndi ceremony, Saurabh and Khushboo kicked in their wedding revelries with a lively and vibrant Mehndi which was hosted outdoors. The lush green lawns of Allita Hotels lent this function a refreshing and beautiful touch. However, what further enhanced the look and feel of the Mehndi were the phenomenal decorations curated by Novem Events. We love how every nook and corner of the venue was drenched in rich hues and quirky elements. Especially, the couple's mehndi seating which was bedecked with a rustic floral arch, colorful baskets and personalized monograms of the couple's initials.

For the Mehndi, Saurabh looked all debonair in a floral-print kurta-pajama paired with a lime green Nehru jacket from Sabyasachi's Endless Summer Collection. Khushboo, on the other hand, opted for a beautiful light green lehenga repleted with multi-hued florets and edgy patterns. She accessorized her look with a unique chaand baali choker and a matching Maang tikka, making for a gorgeous bride.

The Dazzling Cocktail Bash

For the cocktail evening, the decorations were kept to minimal. Fairy lights, flowy drapes, fresh white flowers, and greens were the few elements that added to the charm of the glamorous night. But our eyes were only glued to the lovely couple who left us floored with their sartorial choices. While Saurabh made for a true gentleman dressed in an all-black tuxedo suit from Armani, Khushboo complemented him just well in her grey maxi dress. The diva elegantly fashioned her Vizyon outfit with a pair of Jimmy Choo, wavy tresses and smokey eyes and looked perfect for the occasion.

Apart from donning mesmerizing outfits, the glitzy night also witnessed the couple exchanging the pious wedding bands, engaging in heart-melting speeches and shaking a leg with their friends and family members. All in all, it was a light-hearted function with hints of shimmer and glam.

The Joyous Haldi

Saurabh & Khushboo's fun-packed haldi boasted of a stunning marigold backdrop etched with personalized metallic monograms and a comfy sofa seating for the couple. Everything was painted in hues of yellow and orange to add peppiness to the proceedings and get everyone into the festive mood. Also, don't miss out on the couple's playful haldi shots where the two can be seen having the best time of their lives smearing each others' faces with the haldi paste and getting flower-showered by their guests. It's worth gushing over!

Khushboo was dressed in a bell-sleeved mustard maxi dress from Ritu Kumar along with beige embellished jootis and open hair. Saurabh whereas slipped into a quintessential white Kurta-pyjama from Sabyasachi and flawlessly paired it with mojris from Rohan Arora. 

The Dreamlike Wedding

With a picturesque view of the lush green mountains as the backdrop and surreal decorations adding to its charm, Saurabh and Khushboo's nuptials were a feast for sore eyes. The ace team of Novem Events left no stones unturned and converted the luxe lawns of the Allita Hotels into an enchanted garden. Beautiful floral arrangements, whimsical table-settings and fancy photo galleries were all incorporated into this wedding. However, it was the breathtakingly beautiful mandap that stole all the limelight. Bedecked in hundreds of blush pink roses, tulips, lush greens and cascading t-light candles, their mandap was truly one-of-a-kind.

Making for a dapper groom, Saurabh dressed himself in a blush pink ivory sherwani with a pair of ivory pants, floral safa and tan mojris, all from Sabyasachi, for the big day. Khushboo, on the other hand, picked a heavily-embellished grey Sabyasachi lehenga and stunned us with her exquisite bridal look. We loved how she further upped her look with a glimmering polki necklace, a gorgeous floral updo, smokey eyes and nude lips.
