All that glitters ain't gold, but a hint of bling is certainly something that every bride loves incorporating in her wedding looks. Whether it's in the form of shimmery eye makeup, dazzling bridal footwear, glimmering jewellery or a sparkling mirror-work outfit, brides go cray-cray for a splash of glitter in every which way. And while we've pretty much seen a lot of brides playing around glitz and glam, when we chanced upon real bride Dhwani's sun-shining mehndi look, we had no reasons to not share it with you all.

Gleaming in a bespoke Abhinav Mishra ensemble with a perfect set of baubles, Dhwani was a sight to behold on her mehndi. Right from her outfit & jewellery to her hair and makeup, everything about her look had us smitten at once. We loved how she kept it so effervescent yet so elegant with a touch of bling. What came as a lovely accompaniment to her look were the fun mehndi rituals, vibrant decorations and happy couple photos captured aesthetically by the lens of Memoire Photography. Dhwani & Puneet's Zestful Mehndi Ceremony

Dhwani's Glimmering Mehndi Look

Dressed in a beauteous yellow lehenga paneled with metallic details, a dazzling mirror work blouse and a peach dupatta from Abhinav Mishra, Dhwani shone as bright as the sun on her Mehndi ceremony. She fashioned her ensemble with some noteworthy jewels from Purab Paschim. While a statement maang tikka gorgeously adorned her hair, a striking pearl and crystal necklace and a huge intricately designed ring prettified her neck and hands. Also, we couldn't help but notice the sparkling engagement rock that added all the more elegance to her look.

Complementing with her gorgeous attire, Makeup artist Ulupi Parikh gave Dhwani a subtle and dewy base with soft smudged lids. She further topped it off with pink nude lips, fluttery lashes and a ton of glow. Adding the final touches to her look were her sleek, straight hair that added more definition to her overall charm.

Vibrant Mehndi Decorations

The beautiful environs of the venue were exquisitely done with whimsical floral decorations by the ace crew of DFL events. While the entry walkway was bedecked with marigold & daisy paneled walls, huge brass vessels and a few cascading bells etched at the entrance archway, the bride's mehndi seating was amped up with a beautiful floral wall. Draped canopies were set up with comfy seating arrangements and decorations for the guests. The trees were also decorated with marigold garlands and some colorful taselled strings.

For the Mehndi favours, the couple had got a live bangle maker on board to give away colorful, stone studded bangles to all the ladies as a token of love.

The Auspicious Mehndi Ritual

Staying true to what a mehndi ceremony is all about, Dhwani got her hands etched with the aurspicious henna paste. Some traditional figurines of brides along with regular swirling patterns, paisleys and floral motifs beautified her bridal hands. She looked happy and was all smiles in all of her pictures.

The Happy Couple Photos

Keeping in sync with his bae, Puneet too dressed up like a dashing groom. He wore a white and peach kurta along with ivory dhoti pants from Jade Blue and completed his look with a pair of black loafers. We were further impressed to see how the ace team of Memoire Photography managed to capture the real bond of the couple that was evident in all of their pictures.
