Known for being fierce & furious on the field, the lesser known fact about Bhuvi turns out, him carrying a demure personality off the grounds. After gathering a whole lot of courage to propose his childhood friend, Nupur, they are all set to take the ultimate vows.

They first met when he was 13 and she was 11 and ever since then they’ve been together through all high-low phases that life served them.

In a candid conversation with Nupur, we revealed how the sweet proposal took place. "He (Bhuvneshwar) proposed! First through a text message over a game of question-answers, then over a phone call, and lastly gathered the courage to say face to face." 

The couple shares a relationship similar to that of best friends—taking upon each other, pulling each other's leg and keeping it all fun. Having spent a lot of years together, Nupur couldn't sum up her relationship in a few words but shared how they change roles as and when required, sometimes he is a stronger decision maker and vice versa. 

With all wedding preparations taking place in full-force, the marriage is calendered to take place on November 23, 2017,  being a low-key & subtle affair in Bhuvi's hometown, Meerut. As the couple is running busy on their respective jobs, most of the planning is being headed by the parents which also means some elements of the wedding will come as a surprise for the both of them.  

The reception that is dated to take place on December 5 in the capital is expected to be all glitz and glamour with the entire Indian Cricket team on the guest list.
