As the most magical time of the year is here, so is the winter wedding season! It's that time which we wait to experience for an entire year, with November and December full of weddings. This year has been a fabulous year for celebrity intimate weddings. After famous names like Neha Kakkar and Kajal Aggarwal have successfully tied the knot this year despite the pandemic, the next news comes from Haryana, where the world-renowned wrestler Sangeeta Phogat tied the knot with her fiance and fellow wrestler Bajrang Punia.
Sister of Geeta Phogat and the youngest daughter wrestling coach Mahavir Singh Phogat, Sangeeta Phogat looked like a million bucks dressed in a vibrant pink lehenga with floral. With a small, close-knit setting, the couple had their closest of family members present for the wedding, which further made the wedding a very special occasion. Check out their images below!
Introducing Sangeeta & Bajrang's Intimate Wedding
The Phogat family hosted the haldi ceremony of Sangeeta first. For the function, the bride-to-be wore a bright golden yellow outfit, twinning with her eldest sister, Geeta Phogat and her nephew. Sangeeta looked like a happy bride-to-be in a yellow coloured ensemble which she paired with gorgeous yellow floral jewellery.

The function held next was the fun-filled Mehendi. Sangeeta’s mehendi ceremony took place on November 24, where the bride-to-be flaunted her henna-clad hands. Dressed in a green coloured brocade print lehenga, Sangeeta showed off her mehendi which had her fiance's, Bajrang’s name written on it!
Radiant as ever, Sangeeta Phogat stole the show when she ditched the quintessential red lehenga for a gorgeous and bright Fuschia one, with multi-coloured thread work and a pale powder blue net dupatta from our favourite Kalki Fashions. For accessories, she went the whole nine yards like a bride should wearing a mathapatti, choker, maala, nath, heavy earrings all in emerald and gold as well as bridal choodas. The groom, on the other hand, looked dapper in an off-white sherwani with intricate golden embroidery and a red dupatta!
The bride, Sangeeta, hash-tagged all the images with their wedding hashtag ‘SangRang’ which is a mixture of the couple’s name, making it an adorable to the very end.
