Wedding Look in Sabyasachi Lehenga

Giving a miss to the quintessential deeper bridal hues, Shikha embraced ivory and pink organza Sabyasachi lehenga for her day wedding. The ivory-base lehenga with floral embroideries spread across the expanse and a heavy border is a pick from Sabyasachi's latest Spring-Summer 2019 collection. The glorious lehenga came with a pink-coloured richly-embroidered blouse that added a subtle contrast to the bridal look. While the lehenga is quite a millennial choice, Shikha infused traditionalism with her jewellery and styling game. She adorned herself with a sparkling polki set with a statement maangtikka and a classic nath. The double dupattas with identical borders further amped it all. But wait, the oh-so-stunning hairstyle curated by Ritika Hairstylist deserves a special mention. Shikha's bridal bun witnessed a unique spectrum of shades and blooms which was far from the usual. A red bindi rounded off Sikha's aesthetical and simplistic bridal look.

Sangeet Style in a bold Manish Malhotra lehenga

We have been rooting for plunging necklines for quite a while now but hardly ever we came across real brides who actually wore one. So when we stumbled upon Shikha's bold Sangeet look, our jaws undeniably dropped. Setting the temperature soaring high, Shikha bedazzled in a black Manish Malhotra crop top and skirt set. While the duo-toned skirt boasted of net and lace detailing, the dramatic black blouse was what stole the thunder. A deep plunging neckline, a svelte belted hem and statement bishop sleeves united to give life to this lust-worthy millennial blouse. Full marks to the bride for slaying in this bold number with the right kinda styling! Loose yet neatly open wavy hair and a soft dewy makeup rounded off her look. And oh, the dazzling diamond necklace with a ruby dropping was the perfect piece to pair with the plunging blouse.  

Pearl-beaded hairstyle for a pre-wedding function

The diva bride also slipped into a printed Sabyasachi kaftaan dress cinched with a waist belt for one of her pre-wedding ceremonies. And once again, ace hairstylist Ritika Kadam created a braid that's gonna roar for a long time now. Ritika tied the bride's hair into a pony braid, but with a twist, she weaved the braid with a delicate pearl string! Such a fresh and experimental bridal hairstyle that screams perfect for pre-wedding ceremonies.
