Udaipur is truly one of the most hep places to host a destination wedding in India. Its regal aura intertwined with rich architecture lends the perfect setting to get wed. And when Pooja & Vineet hosted their wedding celebration at the Ananta in Udaipur, it was every bit magnificent & surreal. The couple's oh-so-stylish outfits further dropped our jaws and flooded us with gobs of inspiration.

It all started with a mela-themed mehndi ceremony which was a true colour riot, followed with sangeet, Haldi and the wedding. Interestingly, the couple concluded their wedding reveries with a series of magnanimous reception parties. Our photography vendors Picurely captured all the details & fun in a stunning way. Pooja & Vineet's Extravagant Wedding Celebrations

Mehndi–A colourful riot

Pooja and Vineet delved into their wedding revelries with a vibrant mehndi ceremony. Held in the flourishing lawn area of the venue, the mehndi ceremony was one high-on-colour affair. The decorators vividly decked up the venue with drapes, tassels, dreamcatchers and pompom hangings. A zesty vibe surrounded the venue which looked nothing less colourful than a Rajasthani Mela.

Dressed in matching yellow outfits, Pooja and Vineet entered together under a colourful canopy of bursting smoke bombs. Pooja picked an indo-western outfit from Kalki Fashion which featured an embroidered crop top, pleated pants and a net dupatta which she set around her shoulders like a cape. She teamed her ensemble with a sleek diamond necklace, matching earrings, natural makeup and baby-breath adorned hair.

On the other hand, Vineet dressed himself in a white cowled kurta set with a yellow Nehru jacket. Another noteworthy element from their mehndi ceremony was a ferrn wreath swing which doubled up as an amazing photobooth.

Whimsical Sangeet

Bedecked in the prettiest hues of pink, the Sangeet night was all sorts of whimsy. Right from the brides' outfit to the lush decor ornations–it was all in pink. And we loved the installation on which several greeting cards hung for the guests to write wishes and marriage tips for the couple. On this function too, the couple entered hand in hand, but this time, amidst the glitz of sparklers.

Pooja looked like a dreamy princess in her monotoned baby pink lehenga with silver embellishments. Vineet complemented her well in an ivory sherwani and dhoti pants. The all-floral stage backdrop was also very impressive. And completing the Sangeet night were the love-filled dance performances by the couple. Check out the dreamy pictures.

Haldi Ceremony

Yellow sarees seem to be a big rage among brides when it comes to dressing up for haldi. Pooja too swore by the same trend and  slipped into a monotoned yellow saree with a burst of colours on the borders. An ensemble of floral jewellery completed her haldi look that comrpised of aa baajubandh, hathphools, layered necklaces, matha patti and earrings.

The Wedding Day

It was a day wedding for Pooja and Vineet, in fact, a surreal day wedding! Dressed in a traditional red wedding lehenga replete with intricate golden thread embroideries, Pooja looked gorgeous when she walked the aisle under a rose-laden phoolon ki chaadar. Complementing her perfectly was her dapper groom. Taking his groom-style game a notch above, he clad himself into an ogle-worthy all-gold sherwani. Gleaming with smiles and glow of love, the couple took pheras under a rose-adorned mandap which was backed with a floral wall.'

A Series of Receptions

A wedding reception is a perfect way to end your wedding revelries and mark the beginning of your matrimony! And this couple did not have one, not two, but three pompous wedding receptions–each one better than the other. While the first was held at the destination wedding venue, i.e in Udaipur, the other two were hosted Kolkata and Mumbai (the couple's respective hometowns).

For the first wedding bash, the bride slipped into an embellished pink gown while the groom chose a classic black tuxedo. Both of them danced the night away in the joy of finally being married.

For the Mumbai reception, Pooja looked like a million bucks clad in a traditional red and golden saree. A gorgeous polki neckpiece, a gajra hair bun with a sleek side flick flowing from the front, and glittery eye makeup added regal feels to her look. Keeping it all sophisticated, he clad himself in an all-black ensemble with a white shirt.

Pooja and Vineet wrapped up their wedding celebration with utmost glamour. It was an opulent reception under the grandeur of chandeliers and lush floral decorations. Pooja bedazzled in a grey lehenga with elegant golden work spread over it and Vineet slipped into a ravishing sherwani in Asian blue hue. Both of them looked utterly charming!
