Nothing can beat a lavish Antalya wedding set amidst larger-than-life decorations and a pool of drool-worthy elements. Especially when the bride herself is a wedding blogger whose life revolves around everything weddings, you can't expect it to be anything short of a fairytale.
Meet Namrata (Co-founder of Bridal Affair India and a dentist) & Tarun (a progressive jeweller), a much-in-love couple who solemnized their love at the plush property of Rixos Premium Belek with great panache and left no chance to mesmerize us with their sartorial choices. Be it their Mehndi, Sangeet or the wedding, the two donned the best of designer outfits on not one, not two, but for all of their wedding ceremonies. And all we can do is take down all the inspiration! While the team of Horizon Wie ensured that they lent just the dreamy vibes to their nuptials, the Hitched & Clicked crew effortlessly captured each and every moment in its truest essence. Quickly dig into their revelries and be ready to be amazed!
As the bride & groom arrived at their plush wedding venue, Rixos Premium Belek, Antalya, with their tribes, they were given a warm and cozy welcome. Quirky signages with a wedding itinerary of activities were put up at the entrance with all sorts of whimsical decorations. Personalized room tags and envelopes were also given to the guests upon their arrival.
Namrata and Tarun launched into their wedding ceremonies with a simple and intimate indoor mehndi which was followed by a hep celebration later in the evening. Keeping in sync with the vibes of a mehndi ceremony, Namrata decked herself up in a pistachio green jumper detailed with shining gota patti details. She paired it up with a personalized 'Bride' juttis, a dainty polki passa and a pair of matching studs. Enhancing her look furthermore were her mehndi laden hands & feet amped up with stylish intricate patterns.
Post the indoor mehndi rituals, the couple kicked in their mehndi bash which was every bit fancy. The decorations for the evening were done to the tee by the ace team of Horizon Wie. Be it the mesmerizing mehndi seating adorned with a rustic floral archway, kaleeras & a metallic monogram, the vibrant sitting lounges draped in baby pink, the mason jar centrepieces or the exquisite chair decorations, every detail had us smitten. We loved how the couple even had some thoughtful mehndi favours in their kitty to giveaway to their guests. What acted as a cherry on top were the bride and groom's super glamorous mehndi looks.
Dressed in a statement Sabyasachi lehenga from his Endless Summer Collection, Namrata undeniably looked like a vision in aubergine. Sporting such an offbeat yet vibrant hue on her mehndi with a set of noteworthy baubles, the beautiful bride almost gave us a mini heart attack. Her floral haathphools from Prune India and the dazzling chand baali earrings & maang tikka went incredibly well with the attire. Adding oodles of charm to her look was also her subtle and glam makeup. Renowned makeup artist, Afreen Sheikh gave her a clean base, well-defined eyes, red lips and topped off her look with a classy half-tie hairdo. Tarun too played his outfit game strong and slipped into a white kurta-pajama with an embroidered nehru jacket. He further teamed it up with a pair of black aviators and brown mojris, making for a desi groom.
Oh! And how can we miss out on our favorite part. The couple introduced us with yet another fun wedding game - 'Find Your Name'.
Giving us loads and loads of ideas to save, next up was their glitzy sangeet night. The decor was one of the biggest highlight of their sangeet. While the stage was bedecked with gobs of cascading sequinned strings, glass lanterns and fairy lights, the table settings were done with never-seen before cylindrical centrepieces, gorgeous floral arrangements and embroidered linens. However it was the scintilatting tree installation detailed with faux flowers and sequinned strings that left us awestruck. The bar area too was lit up with a LOVE-ly backdrop made of marquee monograms. A touch of personalization was also added to the bar menu and straws.
For the Sangeet night, Namrata picked up an off-shoulder blouse and glamorous velveteen lehenga in bottle green featuring ultra-mod leafy patterns and embroideries from Manish Malhotra. She teamed it up with a delicate diamond necklace and matching earrings. Matching up with her attire, Amrit Kaur did her hair in soft and natural curls and added the finishing touches with pink lips and outlined eyes. Tarun, on the other hand, opted for an ultra violet double-breasted bandhgala blazer from Hitesh Pahuja and fashioned it with a white kurta, a pair of black pants and classic black shoes.
Taking the festivities a notch higher were the synchronized performances of the bride and groom with their friends and family members that were a treat to the eyes.
Continuing the celebrations with as much enthusiasm and splendor, the couple hosted a lively sundowner bash which was all about quirky decorations, endless dancing sessions and some more loot-worthy elements. The couple made a dashing entry on a yellow open jeep and was welcomed with a burst of colors. The outdoor environs of the property were flawlessly trimmed with playful signages, colorful floral arrangements and flowy ribbons. A special cut out with metallic balloons was put in a corner for everyone to take great photos and selfies. Other than that, there were fun favours like shawls and slippers for the guests to add to the personal touches.
We loved how the guests followed a proper dress code for the night and dressed in whites and blues. The couple too dressed their stylish best and left us impressed with their sartorial choices. The bride clad herself in a beautiful mirror-work short dress with a sheer trail from Monisha Jaising. Complementing her glimmering attire just well, she did her hair in a loosely tied ponytail and completed her look with bold lips, fluttery lashes and flushed cheeks. Tarun whereas, raised the fashion quotient dressed in a printed white blazer with a pair of white pants and shirt from Avinash Punjabi.
Beginning their wedding day at an auspicious note, the bride and groom had separate haldi ceremonies with their respective families and friends. The decorations for the same were kept to minimal with only a colorful backdrop outlined with flowers adding to the look and feel of the ceremony. The rituals were a stunning affair with everyone smearing the couple's faces with haldi and showering them with their love and blessings.
Keeping it all casual, Namrata and Tarun wore simple and basic outfits for their haldi. While Namrata picked up a traditional suit in hues of pink and yellow and looked like a cute doll, Tarun, on the other hand, wore a mint green shirt and a pair of denim.
Namrata & Tarun's nuptials were a magical affair with everything painted in hues of pink and white. The mandap was exquisitely created with a plethora of fresh blooms. However, the best take away from their gorgeous wedding were the bride & groom's scintillating looks. Making for a dapper groom, Tarun dressed himself in a phenomenal textured ivory sherwani from Raghavendra Rathore and paired it up with a peachy safa and a pair of white mojris. Namrata was no behind and put her best fashion foot forward. She picked up a dusty pink Sabyasachi lehenga with elaborate embroideries and accentuated her look with double dupattas & striking jewels. Being a true millenial bride, she did her hair in a floral bun and crowned her forehead with a sparkling matha patti. A tad bit of glow on her cheeks, red lips and a quintessential bindi rounded her look.
Hosting an extravagant reception ceremony for their near and dear ones, Namrata and Tarun wrapped-up their wedding celebrations with all sorts of fun and vivacity. The decorations for the grand night were yet again beautifully executed by the team of Horizon Wie. Right from unique floral tablescapes, the lush green reception stage, the whimsical entrance to the minimallly decorated bar area, every single element was worth gushing over. But our favorite part was the spectacular photobooth curated with wooden logs, the couple's lit marquee monograms, a handful of candles, some greens and a real life parrot to get clicked with.
Sizzling in a bewitching beige gown decked up with intricate silver embroideries from Falguni Shane Peacock, Namrata looked like a pure diva on her reception. We adored how she accessorized her stunning attire with sparkling diamonds and emeralds. While a shining princess necklace beautifully layered her neck, long statement danglers clad her ears. Keeping in sync with her, Tarun wore a navy blue tux with black lapels and teamed it with a white shirt, black pants and black shoes.
My husband Tarun and I met about 3 years ago when we were introduced by common friends. After being friends for about two years we decided to date and he popped the question on my birthday last year and here we are!
