“Distance gives us a reason to love harder” is the perfect way to describe Neha and Sagar’s love story. This couple not only lived in different cities but also in different countries yet ended up marrying each other! Matches are surely made in heaven, aren't they?
While Neha is settled in Mumbai and works in the media and fashion industry, Sagar is a Dubai based chemical engineer.
Well, this couple had a lot of common friends who had been trying to introduce them since 2013 but bad timings, not residing in the same city and other factors always kept them as strangers until September 2015 when Sagar finally happened to visit Mumbai. Love happened instantly between these two and guess where did Sagar propose Neha? On a jet ski in the middle of the sea!! I hear wedding bells already!
Since the bride and the groom hail from different countries, they had guests coming from all over the country and abroad too. So, they wanted not only a spacious venue but also a royal location for their celebrations. After weeks of endless discussions, the couple finally decided to tie the knot in the city of lakes, Udaipur, for its perfect weather!
The ethnic themed Mehendi, with mountains in the background, was a beautiful cultural mix of the Rajasthani (for Udaipur touch) and Sindhi theme. The guests were welcomed with a flower-shower and the traditional performances along with beer and vodka shots!
The Decor: Well, the canopies were beautifully decorated in pop bright drapes with bangles, puppets, puppet elephants, kalires and latkans. For the drinking session, a massive pink brocade Rajasthani bar was setup with umbrellas and other traditional props. The bride’s tent with latkans and genda phool remains our favourite! And oh boy! Did she look stunning!

The next day kicked off with a Bohemian style brunch themed as 'Pastels and Pearls' layered with plenty of free spirited prettiness. There were various activities that were planned for a fun filled brunch such as beer pong, live size jenga, foot spa, limbo dance and hoola-hoop. And talking about decor, over 100 custom-made dream catchers designed by F5 Weddings’ in-house creative team were hung all over the venue. If this all wasn't enough, a 10-feet tall L-O-V-E photo booth, crazy Boho props, hats and tiaras were there too! This was followed by a cocktail night themed 'Glitz and Glam'. Well, this truly was a free-spirited evening! Woohoo!

Now comes the D-Day, yes the one we all have been waiting for! Under a clear blue sky with mountains as the backdrop, the mandap in an amphitheatre was setup with white pillars and orange drapes adorned by flowers. The bride, Neha, entered under a traditional phoolon ki chaddar while the groom made a dramatic entry in an open Victorian carriage! Fireworks illuminated the sky towards the end of the pheras and commenced the celebration of love, laughter and happily ever after.

In the evening, the couple hosted a reception dinner where they made their grand entrance under a firework tunnel created by the family and friends. The never ending celebrations came to an end with the couple dancing a romantic dance followed by toasts and speeches and the party continued till the wee hours.
