In the race of being unique and throwing a never-seen-before wedding spree, many people go over-the-top which is absolutely unnecessary. There is a need to understand the thin line difference between being opulent and being gaudy when it comes to weddings and everything around it. We are very proud that the brides of today are knocking down the outmoded style of wedding, where keeping it blingy and glitzy was a thing. Alas! not anymore, or that is what we hope for.
Who said Sangeets only need bold hues and over-the-top embroideries? The irony here, nobody said it but that’s how it has been over the years.
While many women might not consider grey to be a very good option for wedding wear, our bride Urvashi wore this off-beat colour for her Sangeet/Engagement and she absolutely rocked it. This beautiful lehenga with intricate rose-gold embroidery definitely made some heads turn owing to her unconventional choice of colour! The beauty was marvellously designed by Asiana Couture who is based out of New Delhi. Taking full charge of her style quotient, Urvashi wanted her outfit to speak modernity and also have the required bling at the same time so she went for a shimmery cold-shoulder blouse.
The intention here was to look like a million bucks and create a statement without going overboard. Celebrity and Bridal makeup artist, Rehat Brar made sure Urvashi doesn't look anything less than a princess. She kept the makeup very low-key yet classy; not overshadowing her outfit.
We realised how necessary it is to go out-of-the-box to be able to find what suits your style and what you can carry the best.
Urvashi’s unconventional look turned out to be adore-worthy for us. Let us know what you think about her flamboyant drama in grey and rose-gold.
