Summer Wedding Outfit Inspiration: Our picks from Lakme Fashion Week '18

Aditi Bachhawat, 14 Feb 2018

Some of the most coveted designers - Manish Malhotra, Anita Dongre, Falguni Shane Peacock, Tarun Tahiliani, Shyamal & Bhumika and Anamika Khanna spell their fabric-magic on the ramp of Lakme Fashion Week '18 that recently took place at Jio Garden, Mumbai. All these big names along with some of the most brilliant designers gracing the Indian fashion industry under one roof exhibited their artistry with some enthralling outfits and also bringing about a great change in the kind of silhouettes and drapes of regular lehengas, sarees and gowns. Although the theme didn’t revolve around wedding attires, we came across some very exquisite Indian outfits with a touch of modernity and chicness which bridesmaids/cousins of the bride and the groom can take inspirations from. There were silhouettes in eco-friendly fabrics, gorgeous gowns & lehengas in ivory and gold, eternal florals and pinks and we are all eyes!

And, obviously, we’ve handpicked for you some of the best designs that ruled the ramp for us and might sort your summer wedding wardrobe as well!

Kangana rocked the fairytale-look in in that ivory gown by Shyamal & Bhumika. The dupatta attached to her bun brings the 90s look back with such class.
