Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore’s daughter Actress Soha Ali Khan has finally tied the knot with her longtime partner Kunal Khemu in an intimate ceremony on January 25th, 2015 at her residence in Khar, Mumbai.
Soha, 36, and Kunal, 31, got engaged in Paris in 2014 after dating each other for quite some time. The duo has worked together in films like Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge and 99. The couple met on the sets of the film 'Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge' in 2009.
Soha and Kunal both took to Twitter to thank fans for their wishes and shared a picture of them from the ceremony.
"A very big thank you to all of you for all the love and blessings. It's official now!" Kunal tweeted.
The actress chose to keep the look for her ‘BIG DAY’ very elegant in a ‘Sabyasachi Gold and off-white lehenga-choli’ set teamed with an orange dupatta and a traditional passa tikka adorning her head.
Khemu, looked regal in a white-gold sherwani and a silk safa during the registry marriage, which was attended by close family members including Soha's mother Sharmila Tagore, brother Saif Ali Khan, sister Saba and sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor Khan, who donned a pink Manish Malhotra saree.

Saif maintained his nawabi look in a pure white achkan and churidaar as he attended to the guests at the ceremony. White seemed to be the favourite colour of the day as Sharmila, 70, opted for a traditional Assamese garb mekhela chador in the pale shade. Soha's mehendi ceremony, which took place on Friday, was attended by her family and B-Town celebs like Neha Dhupia, Salman Khan's sister Arpita among others.
Contrast to the Nawabi wedding of Saif and Kareena almost two years back, Soha Ali Khan has opted for sophisticated and close knit wedding ceremony.
"Our families decided the date - his parents and my mother. I am never one to dream about the day since I was a young girl. I am more interested in the marriage than the wedding. But as the day approaches, I'm quite excited. It's a big step," she told Mumbai Mirror a few days ahead of the big day.
The wedding ceremony was followed by the 'Royal Reception'. Wedding reception was attended by family and close friends. The guests were decked up and added glamour at the royal reception.
We wish the newly weds, a very happy marriage and blissful years to come.. :)
