When Salman met Sarah for the first time, he was bowled over by her fiery beauty and finesse. It didn't take long for their romance to blossom into a full-blown love story. And even though the best portions of their lives were the small, nameless moments that they spent smiling with each other, the two were sure it was time to turn their romance into something more.

Soon, the couple held their wedding which was nothing short of a carnival-like celebration either. From gorgeous outfits that are bookmark worthy to jaw-dropping decor, Sarah and Salman's wedding was the perfect start of the couple's adventure of a long-lasting forever. Scroll down to find out all the details of their pretty Mumbai wedding.

Introducing Sarah & Salman's Wedding in Mumbai

Introduced by a common family friend, Love & #Salsa aka Sarah and Salman started talking to each other and soon had the opportunity to have their first date ever. And boy! Was it one of the best first dates ever!?

Falling head over heels for each other on their first date, Salman recalls how he was smitten by Sarah's beauty and stunning smile so much that he wanted to spend every living day looking at her. In fact, Salman had never imagined himself as a romantic, but meeting Sarah made him turn into a full-blown filmy romantic who would do anything to woo the love of his life.

Sarah Shaikh, on the other hand, fell for his warm gestures and big heart. She knew she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. In no time after that, their love story bloomed into the most beautiful chapter of their lives, their engagement followed by their wedding.

The couple's wedding took place on 10th January 2020 at the Taj Land's End in Mumbai. The couple got together with the planning company Castles and Coasters for the conceptualisation, designing and management of their awe-inspiring wedding to ensure their happy start takes off without a hitch!

Fun-Filled Mehendi Ceremony

The couple's wedding celebration began with a fun-filled mehendi where the bride and groom's sides basked in the glory of the sun and colourful decor that was filled with elements like agenda phools and pink and yellow accents. Sarah stepped out in a gorgeous Papa Don't Preach ombre lehenga with the brand's signature 3D embroidery while Salman wore a green concept kurta with a neon pink and beige Nehru jacket from Shantanu and Nikhil that matched the pink that his bride-to-be wore.

Combined Haldi Function

Next was the couple's haldi which contained many laughter-inducing moments. From the groom being overlaid with haldi to the bride's breathtaking OTT floral jewellery, the visuals of this function were all fun and games entwined with traditions and ceremonies. Sarah wore a beautiful red and deep yellow tie and dye lehenga with gotapatti work while Salman kept it simple with a yellow kurta pyjama, once again matching his outfit to that of his bride-to-be's.

Pretty Nikah in Mumbai

The couple's Nikah took place in the evening at the Garden View Room at Taj Land's End. For this event, Sarah stepped out in a captivating black sharara with floral embroidery by designer Dolly J, whereas Salman wore a bespoke black sherwani with a red and black shawl, coordinating with his wife's attire once more. What truly won our hearts in the case of Sarah was the bride's minimal yet contemporary jewellery that added stars to her entire ensemble!

Grand Reception Party

Following the Nikah, the couple held a reception party with a grand dawat for everyone at the Palm Lawns at Taj Lands End. Dressing to impress, Salman stepped out in a dapper white tuxedo from the Suit Supply. Sarah, on the other hand, looked like a complete angel in her glimmering white outfit by Nadine Dhody which she paired with minimal makeup, a high curled ponytail and a set of glittering diamonds and emeralds around her neck and ears!

Post-Wedding Cocktail Night

One of the biggest highlights of the whole celebration was the couple's post-wedding cocktail party which they held at the Blue Sea Banquets in Worli, Mumbai. An evening affair, the entire venue was dripped in red decor with fairy lights illuminating the entire venue. Keeping up with the theme of glamour, Sarah wore a tantalising red ruffled gown by Amreen Sandhu with minimal jewellery and luscious curled locks adding an 'oomph!' element to her outfit. Yet again co-ordinating with his newlywed life partner, Salman wore a red designer blazer with a casual black shirt that fit perfectly with the cocktail's theme and vibe!
