As it is said, there is someone for everyone. And you will find your perfect match when you are not looking for them. Maybe, cos it is written in our destiny! And, just like that, destiny played a major role in Sakshi & Achal’s love story. Who would have thought that a GDPI round at a school can lead you to find your soulmate? This #SachaLove couple got married recently and their pictures were all over the Internet. From magnificent decor to the bride's gorgeous outfits and where #sisterofthebride looked stunning. This Delhi wedding is worth-bookmarking!

Introducing Sakshi & Achal

"Achal and I met in 2013 at a B-school's GD/PI round where Achal conveniently found a seat next to mine to occupy. We chatted with each other throughout and really hit it off. And that led us to get in touch with each other through Facebook afterward. We decided to meet up for a date and started seeing each other shortly after. We didn’t get into college but we got each other! We have been together for more than 6 years now and it’s been the most wonderful life with him around", the bride said.

Engagement Party

The wedding shenanigans started with the engagement ceremony. And to dazzle up the night, our bride Sakshi wore a modish red monochrome lehenga with an off-shoulder blouse. The lehenga had intricate embroidery with some sequined detailing. She beautifully adorned dainty diamond jewellery set and kept her hair open. On the other hand, the groom chose to wear a dapper bandhgala in classic blue shade. He matched his pocket square with the bride's lehenga. The key highlight of the event was a unique game the couple played. It was organised by the bride's sister and the wedding planners. In the game, both of them had to solve a jigsaw puzzle of each other's pictures. It was a total surprise for the couple and the guests had a blast too.

Mehendi Ceremony

Like any other traditional mehendi ceremony, their event was vibrant and full of colours. For her mehendi ceremony, Sakshi donned up in a yellow and blue lehenga set. The colour combination was perfect for the ceremony. It had detailed floral embroidery. With the bubble braid as the hairstyle, she looked no less than a princess. The groom matched his outfit in a powder blue kurta pajama set. He also added a floral wasket to add a little festive vibe. All the bridesmaids along with the groom prepared a very special performance for the bride. It was a fun-filled ceremony.

Sangeet Night

The sangeet night was as groovy as it could be. There were so many dance performances by the family members and friends. For the jazzy night, Sakshi adorned herself in a mauve brown lehenga. The lehenga was glammed up with sequins and embellishments. And for the jewellery, she kept it simple with diamond jewellery. Achal wore a unique bandhgala set with hues of black and mauve brown. The decor was kept mystical and from floral decor to streamers, it was all glitzy and fun that one could imagine off.

Haldi Function

The theme of the haldi function was pink and yellow. The bride wore a yellow ruffled saree with pink prints. Bridesmaids were also seen in pink and yellow sarees, which looked fun & summery. Bride's entry with the smoke bombs, along with her bridesmaids was phenomenal. To match the theme of the function, Sakshi adorned pink and yellow floral jewellery. Our groom kept it simple with a white coloured kurta pyjama set. As you can see through the pictures, it was exciting and entertaining.

Wedding Day

And here comes the last day of the ceremonies. The stage decor of the wedding was amazing and beautiful where the grand floral ceiling was the highlight of the decor. Sakshi, our bride of the day stunned us in a pink and green lehenga with matching jewellery. Instead of having only one dupatta, she decided to carry double dupattas. Her extravagant floral bun is giving us major goals and her bridal entry was heartwarming as she entered with her family members. We are swooned by this oh-so-gorgeous wedding. Doesn't it look straight out of a fairytale?
