The year 2018 has been one hell of a year chock-full of celebrity weddings. We witnessed two of the biggest B-town weddings, first #DeepVeer's and then #Nickyanka's followed by the grand #AmbaniWedding and Roadies-fame, Raghu Ram's along with a couple of more TV celebs. And just when we thought there wasn't anyone lined up next, the ace shuttlers Saina Nehwal & Parupalli Kashyap started releasing their wedding photos on Twitter & Instagram.

Taking it to their respective social media accounts, Saina and Parupalli shared their first pictures as man and wife and we couldn't help but stare on repeat! The two truly made a dreamy couple on their wedding day.

Wedding Celebrations of Saina Nehwal & Parupalli Kashyap

Simplistic Court Marriage

The lovely couple tied the knot (on December 14, 2018) in a simple registered marriage at Saina's residence. The wedding was a low-key affair with only close family members and friends in attendance.

Dressed in a prettily hand-embroidered ivory lehenga with a sheer blouse and a dual-toned dupatta, Saina made a beautiful bride. We loved how she paired her look with a sleek choker, matching earrings, half-tied hair and those rosy lips. Complementing his ladylove just right, Parupalli opted to dress up in an asymmetrical blush pink Kurta which he perfectly paired with a Nehru jacket, white pants and a pair of chocolate brown loafers.

An Intimate Puja ceremony

The wedding was followed by a typical North-Indian style Puja for which the couple was dressed to their casual best. While Parupalli wore a basic white kurta-pyjama with a black Nehru jacket, Saina donned a red straight fit Kurta with palazzo pants.

Jazzy Cocktail Bash

On their cocktail bash, Saina shone like a star in a metallic evening gown by Shantanu & Nikhil which she paired with open tresses, nude lips and fluttery lashes. Parupalli, on the other hand, looked all dapper in his ice blue tuxedo which he teamed with a white shirt and tan brogues.

The Grand Reception

Wrapping up their wedding celebrations just in style, the couple threw a grand wedding reception for their guests in Hyderabad. Attending the bash were seen a lot of B-town stars and biggies from the sports world.

The decorations for the night were exquisitely done in hues of blue and ivory. Glass chandeliers, fresh blooms, antique vases and ornate chairs were all incorporated for this bash. However, what stood out for us the most was their oh-so-gorgeous looks.

Playing their colour-coordination game strong, Saina & Parupalli looked like the true royalties in their indigo and gold ensembles by Sabyasachi. Clad in a rich indigo velvet lehenga with a stunning uncut diamond & emerald set, Saina no less than a royal queen. Whereas, Parupalli looked all sophisticated and classy in his quilted indigo sherwani which he paired with a tussar georgette shawl and a pearl necklace.
