They say that throughout your life, you will meet one person who is unlike any other person. You could talk to this person for hours and never get bored. You could tell them anything and they would never judge you. This person is your soul mate, and you should never let them go. 

These lines come to life through the true love story of Ridhima Vashisth & Omanshu Sharma- a couple that may have met through an arranged match but found a soulmate in each other. Scroll down below and check out their gorgeous Jaipur wedding, captured by SS favourites Israni Photography!

Introducing Ridhima & Omanshu

"Our match was actually arranged," Ridhima recalled to us, "We met in Delhi for the first time officially. Being an extremely talkative person, I was continuously speaking while he listened to me patiently."

Ridhima's talkative, extrovert personality and Omanshu's patience and calm brought the two together. After meeting each other for a month, they finally decided to say yes to each other and deliver the final verdict to their families. 

"We started to understand each other better with each passing day," Ridhima added, "He's always listened to me so carefully, even if I'm just blabbering. And now, after saying yes, we're enjoying each other's company a lot and are in love."

The #RIDHANSHU wedding took place in Jaipur at the Leela Palace that comprised of the mehendi, sangeet, haldi, wedding, reception and an after-party!

Pastel Mehendi Ceremony

The mehendi was a pastel affair with shades of blue, pinks and orange lining the venue, along with matching florals and drapes with elephant motifs. Ridhima wore a stunning multi-coloured lehenga by Vasansi Jaipur, paired with large Kundan earrings and a matching maangtika while Omanshu chose a pink Nehru jacket with elephant motifs on his white kurta-pyjama. While the function was everything stunning, the dance performance by the local musicians added a touch of traditional charm to it. 

Fun-filled Sangeet Night

The sangeet was a glittering affair with off-white decor that was dazzeling to look at. Ridhima styled herself in a gorgeous white lehenga with silver embroidery by designer label Shaveta & Anuj and paired it with a gorgeous low bun full of red roses while Omanshu wore an amazing dark blue velvet bandhgala by Manish Malhotra. 

Haldi Function With Lots of Dhol & Music

For the haldi, the couple decided to keep their outfits simple yet elegant where Ridhima wore a sunshine yellow saree with a contrasting blue blouse along with matching floral earrings and Omanshu chose a yellow kurta. The entire function was fun with both the bride and groom drenched in haldi by the end of the event and the entire family dancing to the beats of the dhol and music. 

Regal Wedding in Jaipur

The wedding was regal and luxurious with red and off-white decor and glimmering light fixtures and florals. Ridhima was a Sabyasachi bride for her wedding, donning a beautiful red lehenga with chunky and gorgeous polki jewellery and open curls. Omanshu, on the other hand, chose a baby pink sherwani with white and silver embroidery by Manish Malhotra. The wedding was nothing short of amazing from making a smashing entry into the venue to exchange their vows and a hearty and jolly vidai ceremony. 

Glam Reception Party

Following their grand wedding, the couple's reception was the last function to take place. From downright gorgeous pastel decor with lush elements to a nightlong performance by singer-songwriter Adnan Sami, the reception was nothing shy of a full-blown movie-like affair! Ridhima walked in with Omanshu in gorgeous outfit ensembles by Manish Malhotra and went on to mingle with their guests once they'd cut a multi-tiered wedding cake!
