"If you find someone you love in your life, then hang on to that love."- Princess Diana.

Now, we know what many people say about love at first sight. Honestly, no one really believes it's true until it actually happens to them. However, Palak and Ayush are a couple who were lucky enough to experience a kind of love like that. It's the kind of love that seems new yet familiar to anyone who experiences and lives it. It's rare, but also one of the most amazing things in the world.

From the first phone call to their happily ever afters, scroll down to see their gorgeous #PalakKaMaskara wedding tale!

Introducing Palak & Ayush's Wedding in Kolkata

Talking about how they met, Palak recalled a fateful phone call that would probably change her romantic life, "It all started with my best friend randomly making a WhatsApp group and introducing the two of us. My friend prompted me to take a chance and keep talking to Ayush. Surprisingly, ever since the say we started talking, I had a feeling that this was different."

As Palak and Ayush got to know each other, they realised that they were naturally completing each other's sentences and were compatible on many levels. And when they met each other, Ayush asked her to marry her, and she said yes without holding back! "We got engaged in March 2019, three months after we met. Honestly, the key to our relationship was our comfort and understanding with each other which was beyond our imagination," Palak said, "Our love has grown ever since and I am just glad for that when my friend introduced me to him, I said yes to talk to Ayush."

Palak and Ayush held a two-day wedding fiesta at The Westin hotel in Kolkata. The couple's wedding began with the vibrant luncheon and a musical sangeet on day one and ended with Haldi and Wedding's colourful splash on day two. Check out their entire celebration down below!

A Vibrant Western-Themed Luncheon

The first function of the wedding was a vibrant western-themed luncheon. Palak stepped into the venue in a gorgeous pale green gown designed by Priyanka Parekh, while Ayush Maskara wore a white shirt and pant, paired with a floral Nehru jacket. The venue was drenched in gorgeous cerulean blue and white decor as the couple made their entry from behind a light veil of colourful smoke bombs.

A Fun-Filled Sangeet Night

The sangeet night was an event that truly took our breath away. One of our favourite things about the Sangeet was Palak's beautiful pink lehenga. A reminiscent of spring, the lehenga was covered in silver nalki embroidery in floral patterns, which she paired with diamond jewellery and open hair. Ayush, on the other hand, chose a black bandhgala with designer buttons and a concept white kurta for the event. The bride and groom chose to have the venue decorated in pastel colours with elements like flowers, drapes and statement light fixtures.

A Day-Time Haldi Ceremony

The haldi was a day-time affair full of colourful laughter or love for the bride and groom. With Palak and Ayush both dressed in yellow ensembles, their friends and family barely hesitated in drenching them dollops of haldi. With Vedis Kraftistic World floral jewellery and bright yellow lehenga on point, bride-to-be Palak Agarwal looked gorgeous at her haldi ceremony.

A Grand Kolkata Wedding

The wedding night of #PalakKaMaskara was the grand culmination of the entire two-celebration. Palak wore a gorgeous red lehenga with golden and silver embroidery that she got from Asiana Couture, pairing the outfit with deep gold jewellery. Ayush wore an off-white sherwani covered in gold embroidery with a creme coloured safa.

One of the most unique elements of the wedding decor was the mandap which was in contrast to the bride and groom's outfits in the colours white and green. The groom paid heavy attention to every detail of the wedding, trying to make it as unique as possible. From the choice of songs to the use of flowers, he had his opinion on everything., ensuring the wedding was held in the highest status possible.
