The wedding season is knocking at the door and if you’re the bridesmaid (best friend or the sister of the bride), we are sure you’d be stressing over the thought of what to wear to the wedding. You don’t want to outshine the bride, because hey, it’s her big day - she deserves to be in the limelight. Don’t steal it from her.

So, when we were at Vogue Wedding Show 2017, a few hot-shot designers gave us some really amazing outfit ideas for sisters and best friends of the bride.

Karishma from Jade by Monica and Karishma gave a simple tip to our beautiful bridesmaid. If the brides skip the red colour and opt for pastel shades like pink and coral, then the best friend or sister can go for the shades like lime green and yellow.

While Shyamal of designer duo Shyamal and Bhumika says the bridesmaid should not wear anything which is competing with the look of the bride. The bridesmaid can go for colours which complement and enhances the look of the bride and appears nice and soothing.

And, Anita Dongre, the lady who gave a contemporary twist to the Rajasthani fashion, suggests the sisters and best friends go for a long calf length dress so that she can be at ease and help the bride.
