It has just been three months to the year 2019 and our blog posts are already brimming with enough cool and elemental decor ideas for the season. Right from introducing you with the magical aura of turquoise & coral decorations to equipping you with some fancy ceiling decor ideas, massive indoor stage setups and mesmerizing floral mandaps, we've had a fair share of ideas to share with you to decorate your wedding in the most unique way possible. And just while we were skimming through our feeds to spot something new, we got our hands on this nautical-themed brunch so unique and eye-pleasing that we had to share it with you!
Conceptualized by one of the most top-notch decorators, Altair, this gorgeous nautical themed brunch beautifully drenched in hues of blue is what dreams are made of. Be it the whimsical table settings, the comfy sitting lounges or even the ceiling for that matter, every nook and corner is exquisitely outlined with fun and nautical props and accessories (paper boats, terrariums and miniature sailboats to name a few ), all adding to the truly nautical feel of the wedding. What further acted as a cherry on top were the fresh white blooms that added the finishing touches and a lot more vibrancy to this phenomenal decor.
The sitting lounges of the nautical-themed brunch were not your basic lounges. They boast of comfy sofa seatings arranged in a semi-circular fashion with quirky cushion covers featuring nautical motifs like stripes, anchor, sailboats, rope knots and compass.
The highlight of the decor was the uber cool table settings. We loved how everything was woven so prettily in hues of blue. Right from the turquoise blue table linen, miniature sailboat centrepieces, tall cylindrical vases filled with baby's breaths, roses & orchids, cutesy red paper boats &seashellss to the fancy terrarium candle holders & lanterns, each and every element added a lot of charm to this gorgeous setup.
With ceilings all done with cascading knotted-ropes, sea-shell curtains and hanging terrarium adornments, the nautical themed decorations also added a boho feel to this wedding brunch.
For the guests to dive into the nautical feels and get clicked, a beauteous photobooth was put up with a huge backdrop painted in blue (resembling the sea) and a huge starfish, a sailing boat personalized with couple's initials, safeguard rings and oars.
For the bar, a vintage cart was set up with a bunch of cylindrical vases filled with flowers and some lanterns. A huge dispenser jar was specially put up for the guests to serve drinks.

Blue & white tend to be an essential combination for a classic, nautical palette. Accents of red or yellow are common for the theme. To add some texture to the palette, we used accents of striped fabrics in cushions. When adding the nautical details we kept in mind to keep the accents subtle and knowing that a little bit will go a long way.
