Sometimes your life partner is sitting just ahead of you in your classroom & you don’t even know you guys were destined to be together for a lifetime. And that pretty much sums up Snehi and Bhagya’s love-tale! The childhood sweethearts became the best of friends in school, spent every waking hour together and went their separate ways only to realize later how they felt for each other. What followed next was their blissful union at the luxe location of the Dome, NSCI, Mumbai.

Beautifully planned & captured by the ace crew of Zest Events & Recall Pictures, Snehi & Bhagya’s wedding was a true celebration of eternal love. With such stellar entry ideas, dazzling bridal outfits, fun games and an even better decor by Samani Decorators, the wedding definitely brimmed us with all sorts of inspiration. What further added to the whole charm of their nuptials were the oh-so-adorable photos of the bride with her cutesy, furry companion, Oscar. Snehi & Bhagya's Joyous & Vivid Nuptials 

Fun Cocktail Bash

Snehi & Bhagya kick-started their wedding celebrations with a very casual yet glam Cocktail bash. It was a joyous affair with both bride & groom having the best time of their lives with their friends and family members. Even though there were little to no decorations for this event, the interiors of the venue alone lent a warm & cosy feel to their bash. We loved how everyone was seen frolicking & giggling around, dancing like crazies with the couple. But more than that we loved how the couple upped the oomph quotient of the night with their uber-cool dressing sense.

Taking the coordination game to another level, the lovely duo dressed up in customized red bomber jackets that had their initials in the front and some fun warnings at the back. While Snehi’s back read ‘Always Planking’ since she’s a fitness trainer by profession, Bhagya, on the other hand, unveiled his love for food by getting his jacket adorned with an ‘Always Munching’ warning.

Scintillating Sangeet

The Sangeet night was a lit bash with an even more lit decor. Every nook and corner of the venue was magically trimmed with a bunch of fancy decor elements. While the entrance passage had a lot of cascading bulbs and crystalized strings etched to the ceilings, the stage, on the other hand, was bedecked with a patterned backdrop and some dull lighting. To keep the guests entertained throughout, a lineup of choreographed performances by the couple & their family members were planned for the night. However, if there’s one performance that literally stood out from the lot, it was Snehi’s. She literally set the stage on fire with her groovy moves.

Staying true to the vibes of a Sangeet ceremony, Snehi & Bhagya slipped into their best of wedding outfits for the night. While Bhagya opted to wear a peacock blue cowled kurta with a textured jacket and a pair of ivory churidars, Snehi whereas, sizzled in a glimmering cape-style gown. She styled it with a stunning diamond set, an offbeat ring and a bunch of bangles. 

The Auspicious Mala & Mameru Ceremony

Followed by the Sangeet ceremony, the next big celebration hosted by the bride and her family was the Mameru ceremony, (where the bride receives gifts from her maternal uncle). It was a one-of-a-kind wedding event with loads & loads of inspiration to save. The ace crew of Samani Decorators did a great job and beautifully decorated the entire venue in yummy hues of pink & white. The stage & the entrance area was prettified with a lot of fresh tuberoses, carnations, fancy lotus cut outs, shimmery curtains and peacock installations. We also saw a breathtaking rangoli design made of flowers outlining the entrance area of the venue. However, putting aside all that charm, our favorite part from this ceremony were the bride’s oh-so-adorable photos with her furry-mate, Oscar Shah.

Keeping in sync with the decorations, Snehi dressed up in an avant-garde Falguni & Shane creation for the ceremony. She fashioned her impressive green & pink ensemble with a ruffled dupatta, some notable jewels and a dramatic braided hairdo. For the makeup, she stuck to a dewy base, a hint of shimmer for the lids and pink lips. Complementing her just well, Bhagya slipped into a printed tuxedo and looked every bit classy. 

Sundowner Mehndi

Snehi & Bhagya’s Mehndi was a mix-platter of all things pretty. The decorations by Samani Decorators were done to the T. Paper cranes, quirky signages, glam table settings, fairy lights and all the other fancy elements were thoughtfully incorporated in the setup. The couple had got specialised cozy corners like the spa retreat, the Diy booth and some fun & interesting gaming parlours put up for the guests to enjoy to their fullest. However, the most fun game of all was indeed the ‘Kaun Banega Celebrity’ where the guests were asked different questions about the couple and were given a hamper for each right answer. Sounds interesting, right?

For the Mehndi, Snehi ditched all those cliche lehengas and opted for a mesmerising crop top & pants set detailed with colorful patterns & some elegant mirror-work. Letting her outfit make the loudest noise, she simply did her hair into centre-parted open tresses and paired it up with a unique pair of earrings, a few statement rings and a handcuff. Making for a debonair groom, Bhagya too dressed up in a floral print Kurta with a wine colored jacket and a pair of ivory pants.

The Joyous Haldi Holi

Bhagya’s Haldi ceremony was nothing short of a mini Holi festival. The proceedings began with the usual haldi application ritual. Everyone from the family smeared the groom’s face with the auspicious turmeric paste. And once that was done, the actual haldi holi kick-started. Bhagya’s friends & cousins came all prepared and literally drenched him in holi colors. What followed was a crazy bunch of people, all painted in hues of pink, blue, red & green.

The Luxuriant Wedding

Surrounded with upbeat decorations & a whiff of fresh air, Bhagya & Snehi exchanged their vows at a picturesque wedding setup amidst the presence of their favorite people. It was high on quirk vibe & had a distinctive glamorous touch to it. The prominent pink & ivory hues, a sky full of fairy lights, a lush entrance & a stage so lit added all the elegance to their wedding decor. What acted as a cherry on top were their over-the-top wedding looks that got us winning at once. 

Clad in a ravishing Dil guldasta lehenga by Sabyasachi, Snehi literally bloomed like a fresh flower on her wedding day. She teamed up her lehenga with a bunch of polki baubles, comprising of a notable bib necklace, a broad matha patti, dazzling jhumkas and a few hand accessories. Completing her look with as much perfection, she opted for a floral bun for with a subtle base, rosy cheeks, soft smoked eyes and pink lips. Bhagya, on the other hand, picked up an embroidered ivory sherwani and looked dapper af. He teamed his attire with a beaded layered necklace, a pink safa and a stole to complete his look.

After they got done with their nuptials, the couple hosted their after-bash the same day with a slight changes in their looks. While Snehi pulled down her hair into an easy-breezy half-tie hairdo, Bhagya slipped into a classic navy blue tuxedo with a white shirt, a black bow tie and a pair of black shoes.
