Don’t we all absolutely dote on royal weddings at fort-y destinations and fantasize ourselves as the luminous bride looking like a daydream, walking down the aisle arm-in-arm with the prince charming, in a magnificent castle?! Blame all those enthralling fairytales that have lowkey put ideas in our heads & shaped our wedding goals ever since we were of age six! And while I’m still on the hunt for my prince charming, its so heart-warming to write about two souls who found each other and celebrated a dreamy wedding with all the elements of a modern yet vintage theme, inside a breathtakingly beautiful fort, Fort Tijara.

It a was a two-day extravaganza with a traditional outdoor Sagan and mehendi ceremony in the morning followed by a fun superhero themed cocktail party in the evening. The next day saw the wedlock of two beautiful people in an outdoor ceremony with a great view! The mehendi was a cozy outdoor event with rustic feels to it. Stone walls and pillars decorated with classic marigold hangings and tables furbished with poppy cushions made the whole setup come alive. Ditching the traditional oranges and yellows, Sneha went for a deep blue embellished lehenga with hints of gold. She donned a gorgeous navratan haar with pearls, bought from a store in Dubai, which really stood out. The groom coordinated with a matching blue sherwani and the two looked super cute together! As dawn set in, the couple exchanged rings and geared themselves for a happening night event!

A Superhero themed cocktail party set the high spirits!

This is all you need for everyone to get pumped up. Afterall who doesn’t like superheroes?! This cocktail party was one of a kind. The guests sported superhero batches on their shirt sleeves and posed wearing superhero (captain America, iron man, Batman, Hulk!!) masks. They even had the customized superhero dance floor on which the couple danced to a superhero song for which the bride specially got a cape made for herself! She wore a bottle green gown with a thigh high slit and teamed it with a gold belt. Completing the look, she wore Jimmy Choo heels which complimented her outfit perfectly. The groom looked dapper in a black tux!

Day Wedding with a view

It was stunning day wedding on an elevated ground with a beautiful view of the city, with a simplistic rustic bamboo mandap. The bride looked breath-taking in a burnt pink lehenga with gota-patti work all over and a mint green dupatta, making her look just right for a day wedding. Her jewellery was all polka with a red hue-so royal and  simple! Her Christian Louboutin shoes which  had a perfect blend of pink and green glitter. “It was just meant to be” said the bride who is a shoe fanatic! Her beau looked no less stylish in a beige sherwani and a peach safa.

Oh! and the bride did her own makeup too.
