They say if you want to see the real-fun side of a couple at their wedding, don't miss out on their mehndi ceremony. It is one such hep ceremony where even the shyest of couples can be seen frolicking around like crazies. And we couldn't agree more after we bumped into this wedding planner duo's high-spirited Kasauli mehndi. It was beautiful in every which way.

Set amidst the scenic hilly backdrops of Kasauli at the plush property of Glenview Resort, Swati & Rubin's mehndi was resplendent with all things pretty. While the bohemian-cum-Mela themed decor spelled sheer elegance, the couple's mushiness and the full-of-life Mehndi shenanigans literally had us swooning. Elements we loved from Swati & Rubin's Mehndi

Upbeat Decor

The decor for Swati & Rubin’s mehndi was designed to resemble a high-spirited celebration. The entire venue was dotted with quirky elements and a splash of colors. While the couple’s jhoola seating was gorgeously adorned with a bunch of fresh flowers, vibrant dreamcatchers, lush greens & printed cushions, the sitting lounges were partially covered in flowy drapes, colorful buntings along with some printed sit-down arrangements.

To add to the flavor, a cozy corner was done with oodles of gota pankhi hangings for the couple & their guests to take great pictures. Other than that, there were some hand-painted trunks and quirky signage put up at the entrance along with some fancy decor elements. All in all, the ace crew of BigBash Entertainment did an amazing job in bringing life to this mehndi ceremony with their work.

Solo Photos of the Bride

One look at the bride’s solo photos and you’ll know how well did Swati coordinate her look with the decor of the ceremony. She looked just as effervescent & cheerful as the decor. Taking the color-coordination game to a whole new level, she clad herself in a beautifully embroidered lehenga skirt with a shimmery blouse and a sheer dupatta.

For the accessories, she hand-picked a neck-cinching choker necklace, a pair of jhumkas and a dainty maang tikka. Keeping in sync with the vibes of the ceremony, she further amped up her look with a dewy face, soft coral lips, slight gold lids, a shimmery liner & poker-straight hair. Also, how can we miss out on her tinted sunglasses and personalized footwear?

Boisterous Mehndi Shenanigans

Their mehndi looked like one of those typical Punjabi themed melas. Apart from the decorations & the couple’s gorgeous looks, the cheery vibes too set the mood right for the event. Everyone along with the couple was seen sharing hearty laughs, shaking a leg at the dance floor or getting their palms soaked in henna stains. 

The Lovey-dovey Couple Photos

As much as we loved the bride’s solo photos, we equally loved how phenomenal the couple photos turned out to be. There was throughout a couple who shared cutesy glances, posed like legit sweethearts and looked so much in love with each other. Their eyes and magically lit up faces could actually tell how happy they were. Take a glimpse of these pictures and you’ll instantly fall in love!

Coming to Rubin’s desi look, he truly dressed to impress. He picked a basic seafoam green kurta-pajama set and paired it up with a printed ivory Nehru jacket and a pair of juttis.
