The trend of having eco-friendly weddings is roaring in India like never before, and we couldn't be happier. It is actually so heartening to see how more and more Indian couples are opting for eco-friendly wedding celebrations. And that's why when we chanced upon this gleeful mehendi ceremony of Sanchita and Prasoon, we couldn't stop raving about how it was so picturesque yet eco-friendly.

Sanchita was keen to have a zero-waste wedding. She assigned her sister to plan the green wedding who DIY-ed the entire decor using biodegradable elements like seed paper and cardboard, and how beautifully! One look at it and you will know how having eco-friendly wedding celebrations is not only a thoughtful idea but is easy-to-execute as well. But guys, that's not all! Sanchit and Prasoon's mehendi ceremony boasted of a lot more. Clad in coordinating mint green outfits, the gorgeous couple looked remarkably voguish. The very thoughtful favour cart, photo ideas with bridesmaids and the groom's crazy dance moves - this mehendi ceremony held at Sagar Palace, Bikaner is brimmed with new ideas and happiness. The talented lenswoman, Simran from Beginnings For You captured all the zestiness with utter creativity, and we can't wait to show you the photos!

Sanchita & Prasoon's Eco-friendly Mehendi Ceremony

DIY-ed & eco-friendly mehendi decor

Firstly, you gotta check out the eye-pleasing and simplistic decor created by Prakriti Rajvanshi, the talented sister of the bride. She DIY-ed the cutesy signages and amped the bride seating area with reusable faux floral strings. The favour cart was stacked with seed balls for outstation guests and saplings for local guests. How thoughtful, isn't it? "We made sure that we packed the seed balls and saplings in cotton and jute cloth respectively. We grew a lot of plants at our place to use them as a decor element in the wedding," the bride shares.

Bride's fresher than mint mehndi look

Coming down to our another favourite part of this mehendi ceremony, i.e the bride's mehendi look. Sanchita's mehendi look in a mint green lehenga by The Rolly is a whiff of fresh air. She pulled off a monotoned look that was simplistic yet super stylish. She teamed the elegant outfit with pretty Meenakari maangtikka and chaandbali-styled jhumkis from Ziva Art Jewellery. Also giving goals to brides-to-be was her hairstyle. She rocked a half-tie hairdo with loose curls adorned with baby's breath flowers.

The mushy couple photos

Oozing with joyous chemistry, Sanchita & Prasoon's photos from mehendi ceremony are pure love. They posed for romantic snaps but also burst into hearty laughs and danced their heart out. We adore how Prasoon complemented his bride in a mint green and white ensemble.

All the fun!

We are not done yet. Here's a glimpse of all the fun that took place at the #ButterChickenWithBhujia wedding (yes, that's their wedding hashtag). If you are looking for some fun photo ideas for mehendi ceremony, you definitely gotta check this section out.
