If you were ever underestimating the power of jewellery while picturing your wedding look then this post is bound to make you reconsider it. Jewellery, if worn rightly; in right amounts and teamed with the right outfits can be the very dealmaker for any function. Every wedding look demands a bride to make prudent choices while finalizing its jewellery because it takes numerous attempts to finalize the bridal jewellery according to every attire.

To curate bewitching looks for Mehndi Cocktail and Sangeet, we reached out to the jewellery king of Punjab, Jagdish Jewellers and handpicked 3 completely versatile jewellery pieces from their exhaustive variety of designs in Gold, Diamond, Kundan and Polki.

With Makeup Artist Pratishtha Arora, Photographers from CoolBluez Photography, Outfits from Payal Keyal, Asiana Couture & Marwar Couture and location providers, The Picture Destination as our foundation, we could bring this fun shoot to life.

Look 1: Mathapati & Choker for Mehndi

How we're only seeing floral, enamel & silk thread jewellery making rounds over the internet as inspiration for Mehndi jewellery and have closed doors to real adornments. We were too under the impression that floral jewellery goes best for mehndi functions until we experimented with Jagdish Jeweller's collection of polki chokers and matha pathis to adorn with the mehndi outfit.

Our bride Aakansha beautifully pulled off the Mehndi look in a burnt orange lehenga embellished with fine zardosi & gota pati work from Marwar couture, with a million dollar smile and princes-y vibe.

Look 2: Sapphires for Cocktail

If you get weak in the knees for diamonds then you sure can't replace them with anything for one of your wedding looks and what better occasion than a Cocktail ceremony to carry that bling.

Grey is the hottest colour of the season for gowns but this colour also limits itself to the kind of jewellery to wear along. While diamonds are evergreen, pairing them with a grey outfit might not be the best option, so to make diamonds and grey pop together, a break of colour is needed. And, that's what we attempted to do with Rishika's Cocktail outfit from Asiana Couture, we teamed it up with a gorgeous Diamond set from Jagdish Jewellers which had hints of Sapphires with subtly electric blue eyes, perfectly done by Pratishtha Arora.

Bride Rashika did utter justice to her Asiana Couture outfit with that swagger attitude and persona.

Look 3: Big & Bold for the Wedding

With a desire to experiment with the wedding look while keeping it traditional, we ditched the mathapati for the wedding and rather went with the duo of a passa and a mangtikka, cuz we were spoilt for choices at Jagdish jewellers!

We too surpassed the traditional blouse style and opted for an off-shoulder blouse from the exquisite collection of Payal Keyal to don for the wedding. Bride Navneet elegantly posed for the camera donning that bold outfit with grace.

To present this look in a completely traditional avatar, Jagdish Jeweller's rich collection of classical jewellery did the trick. We cleverly teamed the off-shoulder blouse with a heavy kundan choker and layered mallas to create the perfect balance between modern and conventional, which too resonates with the brides of today.
