Nupur and Aakash’s wedding was definitely an affair straight out of a fairytale. Their wedding festivities with close family and friends was surely a phenomenal affair to remember. The couple wanted to plan something different that is why they did not have any traditional wedding. In fact, they created ceremonies of their own with the help of Plan With Nonya, a wedding planning company run by Nupur's sister, and wrote their own vows. How cool is that!!  

How did they meet?

Nupur & Aakash met in high school (The Air Force School, Subroto Park) in 2004. They got separated because of their colleges and jobs in different cities. Nupur studied in NIFT Delhi and Aakash in ICFAI Hyderabad. But they still managed to be with each other in a long-distance relationship. In 2012, they started a footwear brand ‘Chalk Studio’. After this, the parents of the individuals met and now are great friends. The couple took their time to make sure that they were ready to sponsor their own wedding. And now that they have finally tied the knot, we are absolutely in awe, and can't wait to show you guys all their wedding ceremonies!

 An Intimate Affair In Mashobra

1. Cocktail Dinner Night: Twilight Rendezvous

The festivities of Nupur and Aakash’s wedding kicked off with a grand cocktail dinner at The Nilaya with a ‘Twilight Rendezvous’ theme. All their festivities were captured beautifully by epic stories. While the costumes were designed by Anvita Sharma & Gaurav Jagtiani, the makeup was done by AriZah NaQvi. With the black dress code, the function was filled with games, laughter and fun with close friends raising toasts for the bride and the groom. Actress Kritika Kamra was also spotted enjoying the ceremony as she was one of the bridesmaids. 

2. Wedding Ceremony: Vows in the Woods

The next day, Nupur and Aakash exchanged their vows in the middle of the woods. With minimalistic decor, the location was too beautiful for the ceremony. The bride wore a floor-length gown with 3D flowers and the groom complimented the look floral print suit. The extraordinary photoshoot with bridesmaids and groomsmen is definitely on our bucket list.

3. Reception: Raat Shabnami

The wedding festivities came to an end with a grand reception night. With the dance performances by the couple, friends and family, it was a grand celebration of their union. The sumptuous event took place in a lawn area. The lawn was decorated exceptionally with fairy lights.
