So, when our real couple, Manika & Nishant, met each other, they just knew that love sometimes, is not one's choice, but one's fate. For them, their relationships began as a mere friendship but soon grew into something more meaningful and surreal. Soon, they decided to get hitched and that's why we have this wonderful wedding to showcase to you all today! 

Introducing Manika & Nishant's Real Wedding in Delhi

Manika and Nishant's wedding was quite a celebratory affair. The bride and groom were a sight to see in every function, dressed in designer finery, and the decor was outstanding. Scroll down below from some real-time wedding inspo from our latest bride and groom. 

Sundowner Mehendi

The Mehendi was an evening celebration that took place at the Amarai Farms in Gurgaon. For the sundowner event, Manika dressed up in gorgeous coral pink, mirror and gota work lehenga by Abhinav Mishra. Her Mehendi was designed by Geetanjali Mehendi, who drew intricate yet fresh patterns on the bride's hand. The groom, on the other hand, was dressed in a mirror work pastel pink lehenga by Abhinav Mishra as well. 

Engagement Ceremony

The Engagement was a grand event held at the Morbagh farm which was a mix of the engagement ceremony and a cocktail party. For this event, Manika was dressed in a gorgeous off white lehenga with silver 3D embellishment by Anushree Reddy. To complement her look, the groom dressed up in a fabulous black sherwani with similar coloured embroidery by Kunal Rawal. The friends and family of the bride and groom got together to dance and celebrate their engagement in the most fashionable and upbeat way possible. 

The Wedding Day

For the wedding, Manika wore a signature scintillating red lehenga along with custom made jewellery while Nishant wore an off white sherwani, both by wedding wear designer Sabyasachi. The function took place at the Amaanta Farms, where the bride and groom's family gathered under the stars sky to celebrate their union. The entire venue was covered in white gerberas and foliage along with offwhite fabric decor.

She is like my fairy godmother who has seen me since I was a child. So, on my most special day, I could not have trusted anyone else but her. She helped me achieve my dream to look like a traditional Sabyasachi Bride. She kept all my looks so subtle & flawless, just how I wanted!

He is like a hair magician. He kept all my looks so different with his hairstyles that it all came together so beautifully.

• Anushree Reddy (Engagement & Cocktail): While I was busy in Delhi with all the wedding preparations, Anushree Reddy team in Hyderabad made sure that my outfit is perfect & fits me well.
• Abhinav Mishra (Mehendi): Abhinav Mishra helped me customise my Mehendi outfit & coordinated it with my husband.
• Sabyasachi (Wedding): Just like every girl, it was my dream to be a Sabyasachi bride. No words can give justice what he delivers.

Mehendi: Gitaanjali Mehendi

The mother-daughter duo is extremely talented. They understand what a bride wants & their designs are extremely beautiful & intricate. We had their team for all our guests at the Mehendi function and each one of them was so happy with their Mehendi.

Wedding Invitation: Tasara Design & Co

They designed our wedding cards & stationery. They were beautifully packaged in a platter by Mysterium Art, who also did all our wedding hampers & gifts. We always wanted our wedding invites to be reused by our guests & remembered by. So we packaged the invite in a wooden tray with soy wax candles, assorted dry fruits, granola mix, and M&M’s (To go with our wedding hashtag). The concept was to keep it very rustic & vintage.

Wedding Choreographer: Nrityangana By Simran

Simran was extremely warm, patient & understanding at the dance practices. She ensures each performance is well managed & executed beautifully, which takes off a lot of stress from the bride & groom.
