While every wedding story is beautiful, there are some that feel like an ideal celebration which we honestly love talking about. And of course, some just come with the most fun captured moments and outfits worn by the couple. Such is the wedding of Kanika and Lakshya, a couple of college sweethearts who finally tied the knot in the most grandiose yet intimate way possible. Kanika & Lakshay's Glam Wedding

Kanika and Lakshay's fateful encounter happened during their college years at their graduation. From then on, the couple went on to date for 5 years. It was like an ideal opposite's attract story, where Lakshsy was a complete introvert, "He's always been a very shy person and it took me an entire year to get to know him better."

However, once the couple were more familiar with each other's personalities, their likes, their dislikes, their bond grew stronger and that was when they decided to take their relationship to the next step- marriage. 

Kanika and Lakshya's wedding took place in Chandigarh, an intimate affair of much glitz, glamour and lots of music and dance. Starting with the engagement, then haldi and wedding- this low key, high adrenaline, function was the perfect wedding that the couple had imagined!

Engagement

The engagement was a gorgeous amalgamation of floral backdrops and facades. Kanika wore a beautiful silver gown with embellishments with a gorgeous blushed makeup look where the highlight were her eyes coloured in shades of lavender, along with gorgeous pearl and diamond jewellery. Lakshay, on the other hand, was dressed in a dapper black tuxedo!

Haldi

The haldi was an intimate affair at the venue where Kanika's family gathered for a celebration of music and dance. Kanika dressed herself up in a pink off-shoulder lehenga along with floral jewellery to accompany her attire. 

Wedding

The wedding took place at the Crystal Resorts in Chandigarh where the entire venue was lit in gorgeous lights with floral decor lighting up the entire venue. For the wedding, Kanika wore a beautifully designed peacock blue lehenga with stunning floral embroidery by designer Rahul Kapoor. The groom, on the other hand, dressed up in stunning powder blue sherwani with a blush pink dupatta to go with it.
