What started over a cup of coffee, soon blossomed into love and was followed by a heart-melting wedding proposal on the banks of the Udaipur lake. Let's directly take you into their wedding madness and show you what gorgeousness looks like!
A fun pool party was a perfect Kickstarter to Maharshi and Hirangi's wedding which sure broke the ice between Ladkewale & Ladkiwale. It was a chilled out affair with absolutely no decor and lots of games. The bride and groom were seen sharing the light and refreshing moments with their close friends and cousins over booze and a game of beer pong. Everyone was dressed in their comfortable best. However, the bride definitely stole all the limelight in her cutesy pink off-shoulder dress paired with poker straight hair and nude pink lips.
Followed by the pool party was a cocktail bash which was again a private affair! Only close friends & family members of the couple were seen in attendance. While some were caught posing around for the shutterbugs, others were seen boozing and dancing their hearts out with the lovely couple. It was indeed one memorable evening of subtle elegance with a dose of non-stop dancing and cheery vibes. And not to forget the dull lighting that added more charm to the glamorous night!
Keeping up with the cocktail vibe, Hirangi shone like a star in a sultry backless mermaid gown with side cutouts and shimmery deets on the hem. She complemented her exceptionally feminine Nikhil Thampi gown with side-swept curly tresses, dewy makeup and a scintillating pair of silver danglers. Maharshi too matched up with his bae and looked all dapper in his Navy blue tuxedo suit which he paired with a powder blue shirt, bright blue tie and pocket square.
Making up for how a mehndi ceremony should be, Hirangi & Maharshi's Mehndi was one helluva affair with their venue all trimmed in hues of blue and yellow. While the gorgeous flower adorned mehndi seating, printed sofas, fresh yellow blooms, tent-like sitting lounges, flowy drapes & floral trellis made up for a stunning decor, it was the couple's oh-so-gorgeous looks that tugged at our hearts. Hirangi dazzled in her baby pink lehenga detailed with swirls of mirror work all over. She teamed her Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla creation with a lotus motif meenakari choker set, a gorgeous baby's breath hairdo and subtle makeup. Maharshi, on the other hand, looked all classy in his navy blue bandhgala and ivory pants.
To keep their guests entertained, the couple had also got quirky favor stations, tasty savories and a parrot jyotshi on board.
The flamboyant mehndi was soon followed by a glitzy sangeet party the same day which witnessed an array of performances by the couple and their friends & families making it truly unforgettable. The bride & groom were a vision as they shook a leg together and burned up the dance floor.
Next day, the couple hosted a warm & joyous casino brunch with a rustic and vintage decor. Wooden barrels, multi-hued flowers, cascading hoops, mason jar centrepieces, checkered sofas, vintage chairs & printed drapes were all incorporated in the event to deck up the sitting lounges, entry walkways and food area. The highlight of the brunch though was the larger-than-life photobooth that was put up for the guests. With a huge laser cut gate set up in the centre along with wooden cartons, logs and beautiful floral arrangements outlining it, the photobooth was truly one of a kind.
Since it was a casino themed brunch, the entire venue was decorated accordingly. A lot of casino games like blackjack, roulette, dice and poker were set up to get the guests into the playful mode.
For the day, Hirangi looked nothing short of a fresh bougainvillea in her gorgeous cut-work blouse paired with a rani pink lehenga skirt and a ruffled dupatta from designer Anamika Khanna. Keeping it all simple yet elegant, she accessorized her attire with an impressive choker set and finished off her look with a braided hairstyle and soft makeup. Maharshi whereas, slipped into a royal blue tuxedo from Zegna which he teamed with a white shirt & white pants and looked dapper AF!
Hirangi & Maharshi's jungle-themed wedding was a beautiful amalgamation of upbeat decor, rich colors and soul-stirring rituals. The ace team of Poojan Decor worked their magic and turned the wedding venue (the bride's home) into a legit jungle. While the entrance was all prettified with gobs of mogra trellis & greens, the sitting lounges were covered in greenery and moss along with emerald green sofas, printed cushions and wooden tables adding the finishing touches. The wedding stage was also bedecked with a huge floral backdrop. But the beauteous photobooth again took away our hearts!
Resplendent in a classic red Anita Dongre lehenga extensively embroidered in gota patti & thread-work, Hirangi made for a perfect bride. She fashioned her bridal ensemble with a unique bib necklace, matching earrings and a pretty kamarbandh. To deck up her mehndi laden hands, she opted for a bunch of chunky bangles and topped off her overall look with a neat gajra hairdo and clean makeup. On the other hand, Maharshi complemented her just well in a classic ivory sherwani from Raghavendra Rathore and a colorful tie & dye safa.
Staying true to the grandeur & royality of their wedlock, the bride and groom also made a dhamakedaar entry to their wedding venue. While Maharshi arrived in style in a vintage car along with all the baraatis dancing by his side, the bride too made a stellar entry on a royal charriot.
