The concept of resort weddings is finally getting the attention it deserves! And we love it when couples take their favourite bunch of humans to a picturesque resort to tie the knot in scenic settings. And that's why when we first saw Angad and Harleen's wedding snaps, it was love at first sight. But it was equally the stunning outfits of the couple that instantly took our hearts.
And of course, the decor by Hyacinth Events was picture-perfect at each ceremony, especially the mehndi. You can guess that we're pretty much in love with everything about this wedding. As you'll scroll through the gorgeous clicks by Studio Kelly Photography, you will witness a big bunch of adorable & fresh ideas. Making you wait no further, let's take you to this insanely beautiful & warm Jim Corbett wedding held at Namah resort.
Angad and Harleen opted for a poolside mehndi ceremony to drench everyone in the wedding madness. Vivid yet aesthetical decor in the hues of yellow, turquoise and pink lent delightful peppy vibes. Right from the bride's seating area to the guests' chair arrangements–venue was bedecked with cutesy colourful elements like tassels, flowers, ribbons, etc for the mehndi ceremony. And no doubt, all of it turned so picture-perfect!
Wearing a lilac organza lehenga with a matching cape, Harleen looked breathtaking while walking under the umbrella phoolon ki chadar which was gorgeously adorned with flowers. Her matching floral jewels from Prune India, and the glorious jewellery ensemble took her overall mehndi look a notch above. The groom Angad gave equal competition in terms of style. He stunned in a white kurta set with a light green hand embroidered Nehru jacket and a contrasting deep green turban.
Every nook and cranny of the venue glimmered with twinkling fairylights to mark the engaagement ceremony of Harleen and Angad. Even though it was an indoor ceremony but the lights set the mood right. The diva bride Harleen too stunned in a dazzling all-shimmer metallic lehenga. She teamed her dazzling look with bold red lips, straight open hair and heavily flushed cheeks. Angad, on the other hand, complemented her perfectly in a classy black and white tuxedo set with a bow tie. Scroll down to see their Engagement pictures and the cutest ever ring trays EVER!
Harleen and Angad tied the knot in the most picturesque outdoor setup backed by the Himalayan hills and natural greenery. Hyacinth Planners further prettified the lush green area with elegant floral installations and adorable aesthetical signages. And it was so adorable to see the men at wedding in the coordinated white and peach outfits. But it was the bride and groom's utterly stunning looks that fluttered our hearts the most.
Harleen picked a heavy pastel pink Anarkal suit repplete with dainty embroideries. She opted for striking meenakari jewels with a pinch of turquoise to amp up her bridal outfit! It is note-worthy to see that she went heavy with the neckpiece and earrings, and chose a minimal maang tikka. Harleen completed her look with a set of a traditional red choora and a pair of kaleeras just like a true Punjabi bride. For Angad, it was a classic white sherwani with a pink safa and turban that looked oh-so-voguish on his lean frame.
Wearing saree, especially a red one, is raging as a trend. However, Harleen stood apart and radiated in a golden Sabyasachi saree at the reception. Whereas Angad made a statement in a black achkan and a red turban. As the sun went down, the wedding decorations were smartly lit up with fairylights and lantersn to make it all look reception-ready!
