'So when she finally said yes, not gonna lie, I had tears in my eyes!' The moment I heard this statement coming from the groom himself, trust me, I started wondering what do I do to get as lucky as Aneesha (the bride). Because c'mon, every girl secretly wishes to have a 'Rahul'-Naam Toh Suna Hi Hoga' in their lives. So, when Aneesha legit tied the knot with the 'Rahul' of her life, it wasn't anything short of filmy.

Set amidst the scenic view of the hills and relaxing sloshing water sound at The Riverview Retreat, Corbett, Aneesha and Rahul's wedding shenanigans were all about love and gleeful moments. Whether it was the cheerful Haldi that witnessed everyone exchanging hearty laughs & soaking into the effervescence of yellow turmeric stains or the Sangeet that got everyone all groovy, each and every ceremony gave them memories to cherish for a lifetime. But it was definitely the bride's peachy applique lehenga, the stunning ice blue ensemble and all the other attires that bowled us over!

A big shout out to the amazing crew of Shashank Issar Photography for capturing their blissful nuptials with sheer perfection. Scroll down to experience all the awesomeness!

Aneesha & Rahul's Heartwarming Nuptials at Jim Corbett

Zesty Mehndi

Ringing into their wedding festivities, Aneesha and Rahul hosted a high-spirited Mehndi which was one kickass bash. The hep event witnessed the bride and groom setting some major goals right from the beginning. While the groom made one of a kind entry on a golf cart, the bride entered in equal style by frolicking to the beats of the dhol-walas with her sister and father. To keep in sync with the gleeful vibes of the Mehndi ceremony, the decorations for the day were also done in vibrant hues. The sitting lounges were all drenched in yellow-right from the draped ceilings, the whimsical chair decorations to the awesome table settings. However, what stood out for us was the huge tree bedecked with loads of gota pankhis, colorful bangles and genda phool, that made for a perfect backdrop for the bride's mehndi seating.

Looking dreamy as ever in her light peach lehenga detailed with beguiling applique work, Aneesha made for one fashionable bride on her mehndi. She brilliantly paired her Eshaani Jayswal ensemble with a diamond & ruby set and pulled her hair into a fuss-free braided hairdo. For the finishing touches, she opted for soft, pale lids, peachy lips and got her hands laden with a minimal mehndi design. Rahul, on the other hand, made for a debonair groom in a mustard yellow kurta, a pair of ivory churidars and a nugget gold Nehru jacket.

Groovy Sangeet

Followed by the Mehndi was a lit Sangeet ceremony with gripping decorations including a lush green arch, an enchanting tree installation and a corner lit up with pillar candles. The soiree saw impromptu fun moments and a line-up of choreographed performances by the bride & groom's family members. Aneesha and Rahul had a gala time burning the dance floor, exchanging hearty laughs and making memories of a lifetime.

For the Sangeet, Aneesha slipped into a deep red velveteen lehenga, a full-sleeved blouse and styled it with a scalloped dupatta. Complementing her attire just well, she clad herself with a pretty princess necklace, a mang tikka and a pair of earrings. She further amped up her look by tying her hair into a basic half-tie and opting for a well-contoured face, smokey eyes and bold lips. Rahul too chose to keep his sangeet look all royal yet classy. He picked up a timeless black bandhgala and paired it up with a pair of white churidars and black footwear.

Fun Haldi & Kaleera Ceremony

Now, let's take you into the most joyous & effervescent celebration of all i.e. the Haldi & the Kaleera ceremony. Keeping up with the essence of a typical Haldi ceremony, Aneesha and Rahul too celebrated their Haldi with truckloads of fun. While Aneesha got her glowing face completely drenched in the turmeric paste, Rahul too was no behind. His guests smeared his face with the Haldi paste and showered him with their love & good wishes.

Post the Haldi ritual, Aneesha quickly changed into a new pair of clothes and kickstarted with her kaleera ceremony. All the bridesmaids in the house adorned her hands with the metallic adonrment (kaleeras) and she was later seen rustling it on them.

The Riverside Wedding

Aneesha and Rahul's stunning nuptials took place at the river-facing lawn of their wedding venue and everything about it was pure magic. The mandap, where the couple vowed to be together forever, was a breathtaking amalgamation of lush greens, dried wooden branches, multi-hued florals and some glass ball tea-light candles. The sitting lounges too were gorgeously trimmed in hues of  blue and pink with a lot of floral chandeliers, fancy candelabras and chair decorations adding to its overall feel. Other than that, there were again mesmerizing tree decorations that added some extra amount of vibrance to their wedding day shenanigans.

Clad in an impressive ice blue Sabyasachi lehenga featuring fine glimmering details all over, Aneesha looked nothing less than a regal goddess. She perfectly paired her lehenga with double dupattas, one set as a veil and the other pinned on one of her shoulders. For her bridal jewellery, she picked a basic choker necklace along with a statement polki haar and let her mathapatti and sleek nath do some talking. Finishing off her look with as much finesse, she did her hair in a lovely floral bun and decked up her face with flawless base, smokey eyes and pink lips. Rahul whereas, picked up a belted ivory sherwani and rounded off his look with an ice blue safa and a layered emerald haar.
