"Pyar dosti hai, agar woh meri sab se achchi dost nahin ban sakti, to main usse kabhi pyar kar hi nahi sakta, kyunki dosti bina toh pyar hota hi nahin, simple, pyar dosti hai, love is friendship..."
Most of us think that this only happens in Bollywood. But what if we tell you the story of a couple who had a dream-like wedding in Jaipur! We are talking about Shivani Bafna and Shyam Shah. Shivani is a well known Instagram influencer who met Shyam in college. They bonded over dance and well, it shows! Both of them are amazing dancers, maybe that’s why all of their functions had dance performances. ALL! We earlier told you about their hatke engagement where they entered with a blast dance performance on the song Ghungroo. And today we are going to take you through their filmy wedding. They live in the USA but their Indian roots made them have their wedding in India. So let’s not keep you waiting, and start with #TheBafnaShahDi's 4-day wedding in Fairmont Jaipur.
Introducing Shivani Bafna & Shyam Shah
Bridal Shower
The bride was surprised by her maasi, who had arranged a bridal shower for her. It was organised a few weeks before the wedding. For this event, she wore this purple tie-dye lehenga with an attached dupatta. She paired silver jewellery but skipped necklace, which made her unique blouse neckline visible. Her maasi and other relatives planned some fun games for the ceremony and also had dance performances. They also had a photobooth corner which had very fun props to use.

Ganesh Pooja
The wedding ceremony was officiated with Ganesh Pooja. As it is said, Ganesh Pooja is done for a smooth and obstacle-free wedding. This was an intimate event for which Shivani chose to wear a saree. She said that it was the first time she wore a saree for a personal event. She kept it simple with a printed green-pink saree with earrings. She sported a no-makeup look with open hair.

Intimate Mehendi Function
For the intimate Mehendi ceremony, Shivani decided to organise at her Nana Nani’s place. She said it holds many sentimental values and wanted to get at least one function there. She wore a yellow Abhinav Mishra Sharara set for the function. The Mehendi function was organised for the bride and her close relatives. This actually makes everything easier in the later functions. We can surely take some notes from her.

Maayra
The bride’s family welcomed the groom and his family on this day. We are in love with the bride’s lehenga. The couple wore outfits from JADE by Monica and Karishma. The lehenga has intricate designs in multiple hues which makes it so unique. She wore statement enamel jewellery to complete the look. Shyam wore grey bandh gala sherwani in which he looked dashing. The event was filled with dance and songs.

Haldi
Instead of going for a yellow outfit, our bride chose a white kaftan set with hints of yellow. In the sequined outfit, she looked gorgeous. And not only this, her family members wore customised clothes for the function. The ladies of the family wore personalized kaleeras. We are also swooning over the decor of the function. The venue had a pretty ceiling and yellow drapes.

Shivani donned a royal aqua lehenga set. She wore maangtikka and passa both to give an elegant touch. Shyam looked dapper in an ombre sherwani. What caught our attention the most was the bride's brother who wore his blazer with shorts. YES!

Sangeet
Here comes the most exciting event of any Indian wedding. The Sangeet! They had a Bollywood Broadway night which showcased their love story. How cute is that? Shivani rocked the night in a red Falguni Shane Peacock red lehenga. Since she was not wearing red on the wedding day, she chose to wear it on the sangeet night. Shyam wore Shantanu and Nikhil’s bandhgala sherwani. Look at their neon sign which says Pyaar Dosti hai!

Wedding
For the D-day, Shivani chose this peachy pink lehenga with a peplum blouse. Designed by Tarun Tahiliani, the lehenga was opulent and beautiful. Fun fact, she tried this lehenga in 2019 for fun. And she wore that for her big day. Another very unique thing about the wedding as she made her entry with her father. All the ladies of the house entered with their fathers. This is so thoughtful. Shyam also wore Tarun Tahiliani’s royal sherwani. Look how gorgeous #TheBafnaShahDi looked for the grand wedding day.

Reception
Shivani stunned everyone in a blue Amit Aggarwal strapless gown. On the other hand, Shyam chose a classic tuxedo suit with a cute little bow tie. The reception night was no less than a wonderland fairytale. Singer Benny Dayal rocked the night with his songs! There were a lot of dances and speeches. But for us, the highlight would be when the groom gave his speech in Hindi. Earlier, in the engagement event, Shivani surprised everyone by speaking in Gujarati.

Jua Jui
Jua Jui is one of the post-wedding rituals. The next day of the wedding, a vessel is filled with milk, water, flowers etc. A ring is placed in the vessel. It is said that whoever finds it first, rules the house. For this event, Shivani wore a traditional lehenga with traditional jewellery. She also wore a Borla on her head. And Shyam complimented him with a green embroidered kurta.
