1. Using Dishwashing Soap & Water

Step 1. To prepare the solution, mix very warm water and basic dishwashing soap in a small dish.

Step 2: Soak it for 20 to 40 minutes.

Step 3: After soaking the ring, remove any residue using a soft brush.

Step 4: Under warm running water, rinse the ring.

Step 5: After washing your ring, make sure to dry it using a microfiber cloth.

2. Using Salt Water & Aluminium Foils

Step 1: Take a bowl and coat it with aluminium foil.

Step 2: Add a cup of hot water and a tablespoon full of salt to the aluminium foil-coated bowl.

Step 3: Submerge the ring completely in the aluminium foil-coated bowl with the solution for 5 minutes.

Step 4: Take out the ring and wash it with cold water. 

Step 5: Dry the ring using a microfiber cloth.

3. Using Toothpaste

Step 1: Find a tartar control toothpaste as it has a greater quantity of hydrated silica which is a great ingredient for polishing silver.

Step 2: Submerge your gold engagement ring in the bowl.

Step 3: Take your ring out once the water has cooled down to room temperature.
