Television actress and Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauahar Khan tied the knot with her boyfriend Zaid Darbar; a choreographer on 25th December at ITC Maratha, Mumbai. The duo announced their wedding on Instagram only a few weeks before the big day and had taken everyone by surprise. Gauahar and Zaid had also taken to their Instagram to inform everyone that they will be having an intimate wedding with only their nearest and dearest ones to witness the ceremony due to the pandemic and to keep it extremely personal. Intimate Wedding of Gauahar Khan & Zaid Darbar

Chiksa & Mehendi Function

The wedding festivities of #GaZa kick-started with the first function being Chiksa. This too was an intimate one where our dearest bride wore a yellow lehenga by a brand called Mayeera Jaipur along with floral jewellery while our dapper groom Zaid donned a yellow kurta with jutti. The day function extended to a night mehendi function and then we saw the duo change into darker hues. This time Khan in an exquisite sharara while Darbar changed into a dark green kurta pyjama set by Mayyur Girotra Couture. We think that the function seemed just magical and started just the perfect way! 

The Magical Nikah 

#GaZabKaHaiDin - Gauahar and Zaid’s nikah ceremony also took place in Mumbai in front of only their nearest and dearest ones. Gauahar wore an absolutely beautiful ivory sharara which was embellished with intricate embroidery work and sequins work along with a Kundan and polki sets. While our groom Zaid opted for an off-white sherwani with a beautiful lucknowi print. The couple looked exceptionally happy together on the wedding day! 

The Magnificent Reception

As Gauahar and Zaid’s nikah was amongst their nearest and dearest ones, the reception invitation extended to friends and colleagues to include them in the celebration. Gauhar Khan wore a gold and red velvet lehenga while our dear groom donned a black sherwani with gold work; both outfits customised by Manish Malhotra. The reception took place in Mumbai and was a very charming event! 

The Waleema Function

Another function that the lovely couple had was the Waleema function where our bride wore a breathtaking cream lehenga while our groom looked dapper in a suit set. Don’t they look like royalty together? We are absolutely in love with the photos of this function!
