Best known for the larger-than-life celebrations and bespoke grandeur, Indian weddings can also be hailed as high-end culinary fests. So much, like literally...SO MUCH goes into ensuring that guests have an appetising experience. The vast palatial spreads comprising of multi-cultural cuisines, continental delicacies, an array of mouth-watering desserts, live food stations and exotic drinks have become an uncompromisable part of Indian weddings. We even witness innovative food trends hitting the tables now and then–all of them aimed to provide unforgettably delectable experience to the guests.

While all this hype & excitement about the wedding food is valid but have you ever wondered what happens to the leftover food after the wedding ends? Well, that's where the problem lies - all that food gets dumped in the bins! You would be heartbroken to know that in a country where 20 crore people sleep to a hungry stomach, as much as 15-40% of food gets wasted at every wedding.

Well, to deal with the leftover food wisely and ring in a thoughtful wedding trend, we have partnered with Feeding India, a not-for-profit organisation that will pick up extra food from your wedding venue and feed it to people who are starving to death. As a part of their initiative called ‘Meals With Love’, the volunteers aka Hunger Heroes of Feeding India reach the venue at the requested time to collect the food and further provide it to the ones deprived of it.
