Blissful Wedding Revelries of Dishant & Charu with Major Decor Inspo

The Jazzy Sagan & Cocktail Night

Dishant and Charu's wedding revelries kicked off on a high-spirited note with a jazzy sagan and cocktail night. For the night, two different venues were booked in the resort and decorated according to two different themes and no venue was lesser than the other. Antique floral vases, drapes, fairy lights, beautiful floral arrangements, miniature hanging bulbs, and cascading floral garlands decked up the entire place gorgeously. Not to forget the metal cut-work stage setting for the couple adorned with beautiful flowers and their hashtag.

For the night the couple coordinated in Sulakshna Monga's outfits in unique hues. While Dishant wore a minimally embroidered side bandhgala jacket with kurta pyjama, Charu wore a belted lehenga with sequined embroideries. She completed her look with a bold red lip, shoulder brushing pearl earrings, a scintillating statement ring and a beautifully studded hairband.

The Vibrant & Upbeat Mehndi

The Mehndi ceremony was undoubtedly a riot of colors with varied hues of pink ruling the ceremony. With colorful seating areas, a foliage & marigold photowall, a cute artsy backdrop for photos, and other elemental decor including pinwheels, painted water cannisters, and fun signages, the decor sets an example of a classic mehndi decor. The highlight of the mehndi ceremony though was the extraordinarily put up mehndi seating for Charu set by the pool. With a floral wreath for her turquoise sofa, complemented with painted trunks decked up with quirky centerpieces, and a uniquely done tassled ceiling with baby pink fabric, the seating was everything that dreams are made of.

For the day, Dishant looked hep in a floral kurta pyjama with an orange-ish pink bandhi from Sabyasachi's Endless Summer collection. Charu whereas, slipped into such a chic lehenga from Gazal Gupta Couture which she teamed up with exquisite pink accessories from Outhouse. While a dusty pink embroidered top made up for her lehenga choli, her powder blue scalloped lehenga skirt with ruffled pink fabric underneath forming the hem and 3D pink and golden embellishments stood out defining her entire look.

With the guests in pastel hues and the couple coordinating with the decor stylishly, their mehndi was perfectly knit into a fun & vibrant affair.

The Starry Sangeet Night

Dishant & Charu's mehndi was subsequently followed by a starry sangeet night with quirky yet glam decor. Unique elemental photo walls were set up one with Bollywood movie posters and the other with the family photos. Both the backdrop stages were amped up with decorated cages, tall antique flower vases, painted bottles, and small candles. With a lot of dance performances by family and friends depicting their love tale through a musical story, the night was not only one hep party but love-filled affair too.

What stole our hearts leaving us smitten was how gracefully Charu paired up her embellished royal blue jumpsuit from Papa Don't Preach with a pair of white sneakers. Yes, this bride wore sneaker shoes to her Sangeet because obviously, it had to be a super dancy and merry night. Dishant on the other hand donned a shimmery black kurta salwar from Diwan Saheb along with white sneakers matching up with his bubbly bride.

The Effervescent Haldi

The haldi for both Charu and Dishant took place separately. As fun and chirpy a haldi ceremony is meant to be, their ceremonies were an absolutely cheerful and merry frenzy. What left us boggled was the strong outfit-coordination game with both the families in yellow outfits. In fact, the groom squad took this a notch higher with their outfits in matching fabrics!

The Dreamy Wedding

Charu and Dishant's wedding was nothing short of a fairytale. Right from the gatsby decor, the fun and uber cool baraat, the mushy jaimala ceremony to their dreamy pheras and adorable couple shots, this wedding has tugged at our hearts.

Donning a statement red Sabyasachi lehenga with exquisite jewellery from Hazoorilal in uncut diamonds and emeralds, Charu's queen-like feels were unparalleled. Matching up to her was Dishant in a heavily sequined dusty pink sherwani and together the couple looked like pure royalties.
