Do you know what is the best thing before you become husband and wife? It's your bond and relationship that you both share as bosom buddies from forever. Be it sending gazillion messages saying 'I Love You' on WhatsApp or always standing next to each other in ups & downs. Love is a beautiful feeling where your heart pounds faster than usual and your eyes gleam than ever before. And, for making him feel 'special' we know that you could literally do anything to see that smile on his face (for which you still have a secret crush on), fret not we won't let him know!

While you're busy in unwinding with your partner in quarantine we spotted this bride-to-be and a renowned wedding planner who owns The Crimson Circle and decided to plan a virtual proposal with her #bridalsquad on a zoom call. From proposing her fiancé to popping out red hearts from the multiple-window screens, this #ChanDeeHoGayi engagement party is the sweetest thing we've ever seen!

Introducing Deepali & Harsh

What is that feeling when you guys know each other for a decade? It's AMAZING, right? Deepali Shah, our bride-to-be of the day and a wedding planners says, "Harsh (or Hush, as I call him by that name) & I have been best friends for the past 10 years and we've supported each other in our good & bad times. We've cried thinking about our ex's and tried to pair each other up with others (lol!) but we never gave up on situations because at the end of the day we knew that we always got each other's back. With the constant pushing from my friends and Harsh's patience, understanding and unconditional love made us leap eventually."

And guess what? With their beautiful and a decade-long love story they decided to get hitched finally. "And when we finally gave a thought that we don't need more time for dating each other we knew this was it. Because we decided to get married! In fact, we've been together since October 10th (my birth date too), and recently only since January 16th, that's when our parents met officially and decided to get us married! Now, when I know it's finally happening Harsh and I have never felt so much happiness in our lives." So, brides if you're planning something similar for your bar, then take some inspiration from these twosomes who finally got played by Cupid!

Bride-To-Be & Founder Of The Crimson Circle Where She Locked Her Best Friend Down

Suprise Virtual Proposal On A Video Call

We know how the Coronavirus outbreak has put so many weddings on hold. But as they say, nothing can come in between love, war & Coronavirus! Being a wedding planner by her profession Deepali who runs The Crimson Circle has planned so many weddings where she wants her's to be an extremely simple wedding. "Having planned numerous weddings with all that jazz and bling, I have always dreamt of having an intimate wedding with my loved ones around. When Covid-19 decided to ruin our Engagement day, I had to do something grand, fun, and cute for my partner to make it a memorable day for the rest of our lives," said the bride.

So, when finally Deepali thought that she needs to do something hatke for Harsh she said, "So my girl and I choreographed a song that is so made for him “Yeh Ladka Hai Deewana” from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. With 1000 WhatsApp messages, a few zoom call dance practices between the time zones of India, USA, and Dubai my #bridetribe drew some red hearts. On 11th April, I sent across a letter with zoom call details and a cake that I had baked for him and sent it to his house around lunchtime cos guess what? He lives 2 mins away from my house so that worked perfectly.

With the help of her brother-in-law, Mihir, who quickly set up the call on the television for Harsh & made sure that he was dressed appropriately she said, "With Mihir's support and my siblings, Nirav & Vrutika (who played my choreographers & DJ for the day) along with my girl gang who danced so beautifully. We successfully pulled off my little #VirtualProposal.

While talking to her our bride-to-be couldn't stop blushing when we asked her about those massive rocks. "Well, they aren’t our actual engagement rings, we never received them because of the Lockdown. I managed to source a gold band of his size from a jeweller friend, and Harsh having his own jewellery business ended up getting me a whole box of rings to choose from! And that’s how we finally locked down the deal in this lockdown," revealed Deepali.

Save To Unsave The Date

Ever heard of Unsave the date e-invite? Just like their fun-loving personalities these twosomes had two invitation cards. One is the Save The Date and the other one being the Unsave The Date both designed by The Crimson Circle.

Final Words From The Bride

Announcing the world that Hey! I am engaged, Deepali expressed her feelings on social media, which said, "Locked My Best Friend Down! I never thought I was the type who’d do something so elaborate & cheesy for anyone; but when the best friend is about to become the fiancé and eventually the HUSBAND - you know that if there’s anyone who deserves all the love, craziness and grandeur - IT IS HIM! There’s no one, I repeat, absolutely no one else that I’d rather go to the lengths of this for! When India, Dubai & USA came together to create this #VirtualProposal for you, I know we didn’t leave you with much of an option and I also know you didn’t want one! You will always be my most precious find and forever constant, as we ‘carpe diem’ our way through life!"

Looks like this couple has already set the bar high for other couples who are planning their virtual wedding celebrations during this pandemic situation. Here, are the following questions we asked Deepali about how she planned everything during the Coronavirus outbreak, any difficulties she faced, and tips for the brides who are thinking to get married soon.

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak did you cancel or postpone your wedding plans?

Our wedding is due for February 2021. We're hoping that we all get through this safe & healthy so that we don't need to postpone it! Either way, for when needed we could pull off our Lockdown Engagement, we'll pull off a close-knit Wedding too!

What are the difficulties or problems that you had to go through during COVID-19?

We wanted to lock down on our Wedding Destination in March and we are still looking destinations in Sri Lanka, Oman, Bahrain, and all the possible options in India! However, luckily or unluckily, we had to stop our search and just stay put!

Any tips or advice you would want to give out to our brides who are planning their wedding?

  • Well, there are a lot of elements of your wedding that you can plan sitting at home during the lockdown, which events do you want to have, your musicians & DJ, your choreographer, and the photography team!
  • You can even start working on referring to the look and feel of your Wedding Stationery.
