Ladies and Gentlemen, unfortunately, we've hit yet another snag thanks to the Coronavirus outbreak. Due to the recent rise in the number of people being affected by the new variant, the Government has decided to tighten the reigns a bit and set up some ground rules for weddings. 

Fortunately, not everything's shut down like before, but some new guidelines have been put in place to ensure the safety of people and minimum transmission of the virus. And to help you stay updated with all these regulations, we've curated a list that will come in handy.

Safety Guidelines For Weddings

Delhi

1. 20 people are allowed at a wedding.
2. Only Court & At-Home weddings are allowed.
3. There is a night-time curfew that starts at 10 PM and ends at 5 AM. 
4. There is also a weekend curfew in place. However, people who are travelling for a wedding can do so with a hard or soft copy of the wedding card. 

Haryana

1. 100 people are allowed to attend a wedding. 
2. There is a Night -Time curfew in place that starts at 11 PM and ends at 5 AM.
3. The curfew is only applicable in certain districts like Gurugram, Faridabad, Ambala, Panchkula and Sonipat. 

West Bengal

1. Only 50 people are allowed to attend a wedding. 
2. There is a Night -Time curfew in place that starts at 10 PM and ends at 5 AM.

Tamil Nadu

1. Only 50 people are allowed to attend a wedding. 
2. There is a Night -Time curfew in place that starts at 10 PM and ends at 5 AM.
3. There is a Total Lockdown on Sundays.

Maharashtra

1. Only 50 people are allowed to attend a wedding. 
2. There is a Night -Time curfew in place that starts at 9 PM and ends at 6 AM.

Uttar Pradesh

1. 100 people are allowed to attend an indoor wedding. 
2. Outdoor wedding venues can operate at a 50% capacity. 
3. There is a Night -Time curfew in place that starts at 10 PM and ends at 6 AM.

Rajasthan

1. The upper limit of guests allowed to attend a wedding is 100. 
2. Wedding organisers will have to seek permission from District Collectors for inviting more than 100 people to a wedding. 
3. Those not following COVID-19 appropriate behaviour, including wearing masks and maintaining social distance will also be liable to pay a fine of ₹10,000 in such gatherings. 

Madhya Pradesh

1. 250 people are allowed to attend a wedding.
2. There is a Night -Time curfew in place that starts at 11 PM and ends at 5 AM.

Karnataka

1. 200 people are allowed to attend an outdoor wedding. 
2. 100 people are allowed to attend an indoor wedding. 
3. There is a Night -Time curfew in place that starts at 11 PM and ends at 5 AM.

Kerala

1. 150 people are allowed to attend an outdoor wedding. 
2. 75 people are allowed to attend an indoor wedding. 

Punjab

1. In Chandigarh, all wedding venues, banquet halls and marriage ceremony places can operate at a 50% capacity.
2. There is a Night -Time curfew in place that starts at 10 PM and ends at 5 AM in all districts.
