Okay, we're calling it! 2020 is the year of celebrity weddings. 

Among all the celebs that have tied the knot this year, the recent news comes from the home of choreographer Punit Pathak, who got married to his beau Nidhi Moony Singh in an intimate and traditional wedding ceremony on Friday, 11th December. The photos and videos of the same have gone viral on social media, giving us glimpses of the beautiful wedding and the gorgeous couple. The wedding was attended by many stars including Bharti Singh and her husband, Haarsh Limbachiyaa, and Yashaswini Dayama who also shared some moments of the wedding ceremony. Introducing Punit & Nidhi's Intimate Wedding in Mumbai

Punit, who rose to fame with his performance as a participant in the dance reality show Dance India Dance has been on cloud nine ever since the couple announced their wedding on social media. The choreographer's been making numerous lovely posts on Instagram for his new wife Nidhi, expressing his adoration for her. When he announced their wedding date a few days back, Punit wrote, "A date that will be with us forever. A date that will change us forever. The beginning of a new chapter."

Mehendi & Sangeet Fun

The first function of the wedding celebration was the mehendi that took place in the evening at Lonavala, Mumbai which slowly transitioned into a fun-filled sangeet ceremony by the end of the night. Nidhi was dressed in a stunning earthy green-brown toned shimmery lehenga by Nikita Mhaisalkar, with minimal makeup and a ponytail hairstyle. Punit, on the other hand, chose a silver sherwani from the  Laadore Mumbai label. 

Intimate Wedding Day

For the big wedding day, the bride, Nidhi, chose a scintillating pink coloured lehenga by designer Disha Patil, completing the ensemble with minimal jewellery and a very light makeup look. Punit, on the other hand, went for a sparkly white sherwani with a peach shawl and safa by Laadore Mumbai. 

The two made a striking couple which had everyone's hearts in a bind. In fact, every bit of the ceremony showed off the couple's volumes of love and chemistry, with Punit's eyes not leaving his new bride, and Nidhi all smiles throughout. One of the most heartwarming moments of the generally cute wedding was when the two exchanged their jaimalas and Punit planted a sweet kiss on Nidhi's forehead- a moment shared by their close friend and star Bharti Singh.
