Hey ladies! By now we're sure you know that ShaadiSaga is nothing less than a genie. We are undeniably your ultimate wedding guide but spoiling you with gifts &exuberant experiences is our another guilty pleasure. We recently wrapped up our Giveaway Month and now we present you a glimpse of another surprising experience we curated for a bride-to-be and her bridesmaids!
Remember we recently called upon brides-to-be to get in touch with us for an exciting bridesmaids shoot? Well, Pratishtha Arora and her girlfriends got lucky as we took them to the swanky store of couturier Varun Bahl for an exclusive dreamy shoot. Famous for creating ethereal lehengas and sarees, Varun Bahl's latest collection left the girls spoilt for choices. *Quite Obviously* No wonder, Varun Bahl's store turned out to be the one-stop-destination not only for the bride-to-be but for the bridesmaids as well. His versatile range of striking lehengas and experimental sarees got them/everyone drooling as they clad themselves in their favorite ensembles from the collection for the photoshoot. Rounding off the looks with utmost oomph were the luxuriant jewellery pieces by Amaris by Prerna Rajpal that made the divas look like a million bucks.
We created two scintillating looks for Pratishtha and her friends, and we can't wait to show you how it turned out! And oh, did we tell you that the bride-to-be Pratishtha Arora is also a renowned bridal makeup artist; she put her magical makeup skills to use and dolled up herself and her friends for the shoot. Kudos to the ace team of Slice Of Life Pictures for capturing the gorgeousness so aesthetically.
Our first part of the shoot revolved around creating voguish yet classy engagement looks for the bride-to-be and the bridesmaids. While Pratishtha stunned in a heavily-embellished Ivory lehenga, her bridesmaids coordinated in sarees in eye-pleasing pastel hues. Pratishtha paired her breathtaking Varun Bahl lehnga with dazzling diamond and emerald jewel ensemble. Half-tied hair softly curled from the ends perfectly aced her look.
On the other hand, her bridesmaids picked utterly elegant. experimental sarees from the coveted collection of Varun Bahl in blush pink and powder blue colour respectively. The one in blush pink featured pre-stitched drapes whereas the powder blue saree boasted modish ruffles. While the sarees were simplistic, the heavy blouses added the right amount of oomph! Blingy statement earrings from Amaris glammed them up like true divas.
As gorgeous as it could be, Pratishtha embraced a traditional red lehenga for the wedding day look. Beautifully replete with intricate multi-hued embroideries, the lehenga can make every bride-to-be go weak in the knees. Being a true traditionalist, she accessorised the lehenga with a heavy polki choker, an oversized maangtikka and a pair of statement earrings. She stroked her magic wand on self and did a subtle yet glamorous makeup *That's how most millennial brides like it* She did bold smokey eyes, painted her lips red and flushed her cheeks with little blush.
The bridesmaids too looked nothing less than a dream as they clad themselves in classy Varun Bahl ensembles featuring the designer's signature floral finery. One of them opted for a pristine ivory base lehenga teamed with a mesmerising blush pink blouse and dupatta. She fashioned the look with an alluring maang tikka and a pair of matching multi-tiered earrings.
The other bridesmaid, on the other hand, slipped into a regal achkan-style Anarkali that exuded utter elegance. For the jewels, she made a rocking statement with an oversized maangtikka and pearl-stranded passa earrings. The makeup done by her bestie bride-to-be further accentuated the overall look.
And here's a glimpse of fun the girls had!
