It is raining photoshoots at ShaadiSaga and you are surely missing out on being a part of exciting photoshoots if you are not following us on Instagram (so yeah, follow us NOW). Well, this time we etched once-in-a-lifetime memories for a Mumbai-based bride-to-be, Dhwani and her gorgeous gang of girls as we organised an ethereally stunning photoshoot at the luxe beachside property Novotel, Mumbai.
We partnered with the ace designer Payal Singhal who is best known for her Indian wear fused with contemporary aesthetics. The esteemed designer lent svelte outfits for the bride and bridesmaids that came in unique silhouettes and resonated with their millennial choices. The dazzling baubles from the Shillpa Purii Designer Jewellery turned out to be the perfect adornments for the girls.
Our vendor, Aachal Jain showed her makeup prowess and beautifully accentuated the girls' natural beauty. The skilled team of Floral Art by Srishti created the dreamiest rustic & floral-themed decor for the outdoor shoot. The bride and her bridesmaids, each one of them looking spectacular in Payal Singhal outfits posed for the lens of WhatKnot Wedding Photography who yet again impressed with their snaps.
Here's a compilation of the fun and gorgeous shoot whose each element will inspire you in tonnes - be it the outfits, jewellery, the decor setups or the photographs!
The shoot began with capturing the endearing bridal room moments. As the MUA Aachal Jain prepped Dhwani with her wondrous makeup skills for the wedding look, the bridesmaids joined in to show how to create some epic memories (and photographs) in the bridal room. The girls helped the bride get ready, posed endlessly with for some amazing photos and even hogged pizzas–all of which resulted in stunning photographs.
Dhwani slipped into a modish Payal Singhal creation which was an ivory-based lehenga with vibrant tropical embroideries. To create a fuss-free milennial bridal look, she opter for a single light-weight dupatta which she loosely draped on one of her shoulders in a diagonal flow. The fine jewels by Shillpa Purii Designer Jewellery gorgeously uplifted bridal feels and were the real MVPs of Dhwani's bridal look. She opted for delicated nath and matha patti, and went heavy with her necklace, earrings and ring. Her makeup too screamed goals as it lent her a non-dramatic naturally flushed glowing look.
After capturing the bridal room stories, we brought the girls to the lush open area of Novotel, Mumbai where the exceptionally talented team of Floral Art by Srishti had created a breathtakingly picturesque decor setup for the photoshoot. A majestic wooden wreath flushed with faux flowers and ferns stood tall as the most gorgeous backdrop for the bride and bridesmaids photos. The rustic wooden wreath was surrounded with glorious vibrant blooms and artistically placed wooden trunks & flower vases -all these rustic elements teamed up to double up the beauty of the fun bridesmaids photoshoot. The girls delved into an ogle-worthy photo session as the lenses of WhatKnot Wedding Photography captured them at their candid best.
But that's not all! Floral Art by Srishti created another rustic-themed backdrop for the peppy bridesmaidsp photoshoot. This one was created using bamboo sticks and further adorned with threaded circular disk props and floral arrangements. The gorgeous clan posed against this bewitching backdrop, and how beautifully it turned out!
All the four bridesmaids were a sight to behold as they got clad in versatile Payal Singhal outfits. Each outfit was a unique contemporary silhouette that stood far from the usual traditional lehengas and suits. Here's a one-by-one closer look at their utterly drool-worthy looks in stylish, breezy outfits and striking jewellery pieces.
Embracing a mix of ethnicity and modernism, this bridesmaid picked the label's signature choli and crotch pants set with a matching drape that looked like an experimental saree. She accessorised the outfit with meenakari chandbaali earrings and maang tikka. Subtle golden nails, minimal makeup and a pair of juttis rounded off her look.
Coming down to another beauty, this bridesmaid donned a brocade crop top and a skirt set but with the twist of a butterfly cape. She amped her look by letting her hair down and wearing scintillating pearl jhoomar earrings from Shillpa Purii Designer Jewellery.
Taking the bridesmaids fashion game a notch above, this bridesmaid aced a svelte periwinkle blue sharara set with a cropped top and a net dupatta. Her bold blue eyemakeup, long open tresses and striking earrings perfectly complemented her look.
Last but not the least, here is a closer look at this bridesmaid who wore a breezy pristine white lehenga skirt with a semi-sheer off-shoulder blouse. The diva accentuated the look with bold lips and artisy meenakari earrings.
