And, while you must be busy ticking off these websites in your quarantining days we have a magical proposal today of a famous blogger who met her partner in a fashion show. Yes! It's the dreamy proposal of blogger Niki Mehra who recently got engaged with her boyfriend Sid Madan and it was beautiful beyond words. From the highest bar in London where she said 'I Do' to Niki looking gorgeous in a red corset dress from House of CB. Check out their beautiful love story where Sid went down on his knees and proposed his ladylove at the same place where they had their first date two years ago!
We love giving you all the bridal and fashion inspiration for your wedding but who knew that these twosomes would meet at a fashion show. "Sid and I met on the 18th Feb exactly two years ago during London Fashion Week when he first asked me out on a date. He is a fashion entrepreneur and I was there for attending shows and that's how we connected. We both knew that since the moment we met and spoke to each other we had found the one that we would end up getting married. Like every girl, I had also dreamt of a beautiful proposal but when it happened I was so so emotional. It was finally sinking in. I was going to marry the love of my life and he made the whole proposal so perfect that it left me speechless," said Niki.
Since our bride had a fair idea that she was going on an anniversary date, she wore a pretty red corset dress from House of CB which she paired it up with a delicate pearl drop earrings from OutHouse. In the continuation of her proposal love story, she added, "Sid brought soul to our proposal. He took me to the highest bar in London, sat me down by the window where I could see the entire city and told me "the view is perfect, the mood is perfect, will you be my girlfriend" leaned and kissed me. And guess what? Two years later, the love of my life took me to the same place, booked the same table by the window and said, "the view is better, the mood is better... will you be my wife?"
Aww! Do they just look adorable together? In fact when finally Niki said 'I Do' to her fiancé she told us that, "Sid later told me that he was certain that he didn't want our proposal story to be just another romantic one but one with a story. That's why he took me to the place where we first kissed and decided we wanted to be together. It was the highest bar in London and he booked us the same window table from where you could see the entire city. He recreated our first date, said the same dialogue he did when he asked me to be his girlfriend, just that now he wanted to marry me! Later, we drove around London in the limo he had booked for celebratory drinks with our friends.
We are jumping with joy on their engagement but what we also loved that our bride-to-be dressed perfectly for her proposal date night. "Since I knew I was going on an anniversary dinner date (or so I thought), I had chosen a red off-shoulder dress, which looked perfect in our proposal photos! I had teamed that up with delicate Pearl drop earrings from OutHouse to complete my entire look," revealed Niki. And, since she #justengaged how could we not ask her about that rock that is dazzling like a diamond she added, "My ring! It's breathtaking and so much soul to it as well. Sid's mom got the ring especially custom-made for me, right from the design to the princess cut from their family jeweler. These guys had worked on the ring for 3 to 4 months and I LOVED it so much that I can't express in words!"
