We’d be lying if we said that when we first saw the Netflix series, ‘The Big Day’ our focus wasn’t on the clothes donned by the various brides and grooms who were featured on the show. In fact, there were a plethora of outfits that we were simply swooning over. 1. Divya’s White Bridal Lehenga 

Divya was the first bride on the show who had only one motive throughout the wedding preps that all the items used at the wedding should be recycled, reused or be made into something else. But that’s not the only thing that caught our eye in the series. When the bride donned a white embellished bridal lehenga on the big day, all we could do was wish to have a similar lehenga for our own wedding. Divya’s bridal lehenga is perfect for all you brides who wish to don something other than the traditional red lehenga! 

2. Nikhita’s Welcome Dinner Gown

Nikhita was a bride who was brought up in California but was getting hitched in India. She had a very grand wedding and with a grand wedding comes grand outfits. The one outfit which we cannot stop dreaming of has to be Nikhita’s welcome dinner gown. The straight fit embellished gown came in a beautiful shade of gold and our beautiful bride wore a stunning diamond necklace with that. Kudos to the bride for ditching the open hair and going with a high wavy pony which only made her look even more stunning!

3. Nikhita's Embroidered Pastel Lehenga For The Mehendi Function 

For the mehndi ceremony, Nikhita Iyar decided to wear an ice-blue pastel lehenga with embroidery done perfectly on the outfit. Keeping it classy with diamond and ruby jewels the bride-to-be broke the internet with her bridal looks and we are still drooling on her bridal look. 

4. Golden Sangeet Lehenga & White Wedding Lehenga Worn By Nikhita

Another outfit from Nikhita’s wedding looks that we fell in absolute love with was the golden lehenga that this stunner wore on her sangeet function and the white one that she went with for the big day. We love how for the sangeet function to the bride has gone with a ponytail and for wedding day she has decided to keep it clean. She clearly was able to dance her heart out on all the functions. Both the lehengas were fully embellished and heavy so we would only recommend it to those brides who are planning on having a grand function or to those of you who are fond of embellishments. 

5. Nikhita Iyar in a Gorgeous Patchwork Red Lehenga For Reception Party

Though we loved all her outfits what caught our attention was her reception patchwork lehenga. Keeping it glamorous she paired an off-shoulder blouse with a long trail lehenga skirt that looked spectacular for the reception night. With soft curls and dewy makeup, Nikhita Iyar stunned us with her reception looks and how. 

6. Ami’s Velvet Wedding Lehenga

Ami, the third bride who was featured on the show wore a navy blue velvet lehenga with a choker necklace on her wedding day and we have to say that not only was it a bold outfit choice but it was also a fantastic one. For starters, Ami stood out and her outfit also ended up being perfect for a winter wedding. Another outfit of Ami that we were head over heels for was the white trail gown that she donned on her cocktail function. Apart from the fact that the gown gave a lavish look, it also had such delicate details that it was the perfect mix of bold and soft. Oh, and the best part? It works for brides who want subtle and even for those who want to make a statement. So, all you ladies need to bookmark this outfit for sure!

8. Pallavi’s Colourful Wedding Outfits

Out of all the brides featured on ‘The Big Day’ it was only Pallavi who went with a quintessential red bridal lehenga for the wedding day by Sabyasachi and a scintillating Seema Gujral's blue lehenga for her cocktail. While we were happy to see other brides don something different and out of the box, it was nice to see Pallavi opt for a traditional look for the big day. Not only did she pull it off beautifully but she also made us fall in love with her outfit. So, all you brides out there who want to have a traditional look on your wedding day, need to bookmark Pallavi’s wedding lehenga! Oh! Did we miss saying that we LOVED her mehndi outfit by Seema Gujral. 

9. Danny & Tyrone’s Wedding Outfits

Danny and Tyrone for their Indian wedding ceremony donned a lilac sherwani and an eggshell white sherwani respectively. Why we love these two outfits is the fact that both are giving such an elegant and royal look. Secondly, it was a day wedding so the outfit colours came out rather beautifully. These two Indian outfits are absolutely stunning and any groom will look stupendous so that’s why this has made our list. Bookmark it now and get it ready for your to-be husband!

10. Gayeti’s Sangeet & Wedding Lehenga

For her sangeet function, real bride Gayeti went with a Gaurav Gupta off-white lehenga and on the wedding day went with a red lehenga. What made us love the sangeet outfit so much and include it in our list was the fact that the lehenga was a great combination of modern and traditional. It had the perfect off-shoulder blouse with textured ruffles and the flowy lehenga to go along. Oh, and let’s not forget the grand ruffle dupatta that is GG’s signature. Ladies, no matter what function we refer to, this outfit can easily be donned at any of them and even the wedding outfit for that matter of fact. From your wedding to your reception function, this lehenga is going to make you look beautiful just like Gayeti looked at her wedding function!
