'Did someone say a palace wedding? Well, I am all ears and eyes then!'— Yes, that was my first reaction when we got this opulent palace wedding in our mailbox. While one moment I was going berserk over this much-in-love couple's heavenly nuptials, the other moment I got down penning it for you all!

Full of grandiose & regal touches, Dolfi & Aniruddha’s wedding was a delightfully refreshing sight. It presented a gleeful mood & intimate moments throughout, tactfully captured by the lens of Sandeep Gadhvi Photography. The scenic view of Lukshmi Villas Palace turned out to be the perfect backdrop for the bride & groom’s breathtaking shots & the impeccable decorations by The Tulip Touch further amped up the look & feel. The bride and groom made for pure royalties dressed in their svelte outfits. However, the major highlight was their attention-grabbing entries. Quickly dive in & take a peek at all that went down at this dreamy union!

Extravagant Palace Wedding of Aniruddha and Dolfi

Flamboyant Haldi

Rocking a simplistic yet vibrant yellow saree with a brocade blouse, Dolfi commenced her wedding shenanigans with a colorful Haldi ceremony. She kept her look understated with naturally wavy hair, a handful of bangles, jhumka earrings & a minimalistic maang tikka yet made for a beautiful bride. For the makeup too, she refrained from going overboard and settled down for black outlined eyes and red lips.

Coming to the decorations, all sorts of vivid hues were selected for the color palette of the Haldi setup. There were flowy drapes in red, green, yellow, magenta and baby pink beautifully put together all around the Haldi seating. Adding some more elegance to it were Rajasthani cane stools & stunning sit-down arrangements that have become the latest fad at weddings.

Intimate Mehndi

Followed by the gleeful Haldi event was the intimate Mehndi ceremony that again took place at the bride's house. Tweaking some elements here and there, the decorations for the mehndi day were kept the same as that of Haldi. And unquestionably, they fit in quite well for the fun & quirky vibes of the mehndi ceremony! Colorful drapes, artificial flowers and lush greens were some of the key highlights that we spotted at this event. However, our eyes were constantly stuck on the bride's easy-breezy mehndi day look.

Staying true to her love for minimalism, Dolfi slipped into a neon green saree with a rani pink sequinned blouse. She fashioned her look with matching pink floral jewels that comprised of a maang tikka and a pair of earrings. Completing her look just right, she did her hair in a simple half-tie and applied a pop of pink to her lips. Also, not to miss out on those golden, metallic kaleeras that added the much-needed quintessence to her overall look.

Ritzy Cocktail

For how glamorous a cocktail night is, a bride has no choice but to put her best fashion foot forward. And that's exactly what Dolfi did on her lit cocktail bash! Ditching the cliche cocktail gowns and shimmery maxi dresses, Dolfi opted for an offbeat ensemble from the label First Edit in a bright azure blue hue. The outfit featured a beautifully thread-worked bustier blouse, a sheer cape and a pair of scalloped pants attached with A-line extensions giving it a look of a lehenga. She paired her attire with remarkable multi-tiered jhumkas, a chand baali maang tikka and a sleek haath phool. However, taking her Cocktail look a notch above was her blue smokey eyes, flushed cheeks, nude lips and a high puffed ponytail.

And no, she didn't just make for a fashionista bride on her Cocktail but a crazy one too. She danced her hearts out on the dance floor and left one and all impressed with her groovy moves.

Lavish Engagement

Dolfi & Aniruddha's Engagement ceremony spelled sheer opulence. We loved how subtle decor elements like a floral backdrop, vintage floral vases and laser cut wooden frames amped up the stage so well. But more than that we were smitten by how the bride and groom flawlessly color-coordinated their outfits.

Looking all debonair in a striking navy blue tuxedo with a white shirt and a black bow-tie from Studio Rocky, Aniruddha literally got our hearts winning. Complementing him suitably, Dolfi too clad herself in a dreamy navy blue lehenga handcrafted with golden embroideries and a sheer cape replete with florals. She teamed up her Agunj outfit with a pair of notable chaand baalis and an edgy handcuff. Half-tied luscious locks, pink lips and contoured cheeks rounded off her look.

The Royal Wedding

Dolfi & Aniruddha's wedding was an extremely royal affair. The majestic property, Luxmi Villas Palace proved to be the perfect backdrop for their gorgeous nuptials. While Aniruddha made for a regal groom in his baby pink textured sherwani paired with multi-layered pearl haar and a rani pink safa, Dolfi looked no less than a maharani in her bridal avatar. She donned an offbeat powder blue lehenga for her big day and perked it up with the best kind of baubles. To dress up her neck, she got a bespoke polki choker necklace and topped off her overall look with a bunch of kadas & bangles for her hands & a noteworthy matha patti to crown her head. Further adding the final touches to her look were fluttery lashes, shimmery smoked eyes and bold pink lips.

As much as their looks, the bride and groom's entries too were magical beyond words. While Dolfi arrived in style under a phenomenal rose & mogra phoolon ki chaadar, Aniruddha entered the venue like the royal maharajas on a fancy chariot. Take a look at these pictures to witness all the opulence on your own!

How They Met

The bride shares,

So, I and Aniruddha met each other 1.5 yrs back in office through common friends. I had a huge crush on him since the first day of my job which obviously he didn't know about. Later, when we started chit-chatting on the phone, I came to know that the feelings were mutual. He had even a bigger crush on me. After dating for 6 months, which had been completely magical for both of us, I was sure that he is my one and only one with whom I want to spend the rest of my life. And I proposed him, to which he was completely taken aback but it was an instant 'yes'.
