Kickstarting on a dreamy and beautifully decked up note with a sit-down mehndi followed by the sangeet night, the evening was the perfect blend of unwinding & partying for everybody. The surreal pastel-hued decor included a panelled draped ceiling lit up with bulbs and quirky floral, ribbon and tasselled hangings. The chilled out and warm vibes the quaint lower seating beautified with multi-hued floral centrepieces added to this affair were just right for a relaxing time.
Indian chaat station, masala chai, mehndi corner, sheesha corner, giant jenga and pretty favors were just the right elements needed for a blissful time. A quiz about the couple and a fun saree tying competition for the men were the perfect onset for the night followed by jazzy performances and lots of dancing!
For the evening, Anuroop suited himself with a white kurta-churidaar set that he paired with a yellow nehru jacket by Rajesh Pratap Singh. Saumya, on the other hand, slipped into a stunning blush pink and yellow lehenga with thread and sequined embroideries from Madsam Tinzin teaming it up with minimal jewellery and open tresses.
The next day the couple hosted a casual Barbecue by the pool which was yet another realxing-cum-fun time for everybody. While beer pong, water balloons and pistols and pool fun added the cheery vibe, personalized coconuts, beer canoe and foot massages made up for the uber cool stressbusters.
As magical and dreamy it could have been, the wedding was nothing short of a fairytale affair. Be it the enchanting and soothing decor or the so-in-love couple, everything about this gorgeous wedding ceremony was breathtaking. The simplistic drape chair decor seating made up for the decor right in front of an all floral mandap-cum-stage! Laden with a plethora of white flowers, light drapes, and a LIT chandelier, the stage area was surrounded by a faux pond with lotuses that made the entire setting engulf everybody in its charming view.
The way the couple coordinated their outfits with the decor along with their white & light pink rose jaimala design casted a bewitching spell leaving us awed. The wedding was a delightfully simplistic ceremony including Ganesh pooja, words of love & wisdom by the families and couple, jaimala ceremony and mangalsutra tying.
Clad in a light pink sherwani from Rajesh Pratap Singh and a royal looking multi-layaered rani haar, Anuroop looked nothing less than a dashing and crisp groom.
Saumya whereas, made up for a classic millenial bride with her minimal and simplistic bridal look. While she slipped into an eye-pleasing ivory lehenga from Frontier Raas done in colorful floral embroideries, she kept her jewellery and makeup minimal donning a pretty bindi along with. What left us surprised though, was how gracefully she decided to go bare on her hands and skipped hand jewellery and chooda entirely. *amazeballin'*
The wedding was soon followed by the reception dinner where, while the guests enjoyed their sunset cocktails and Phil Stoodley's acoustic tunes, the couple changed into their reception outfits. Making a smashing couple entry grooving together amidst sparklers, the couple kicked off the night with a bang! The night was all about games, heartfelt speeches and partying until the wee hours of the night.
The LIT & fab decor of the night was worth dropping jaws at as the strikingly decked up tablescapes spread across the lawn looked so voguish with floral centrepieces and candles. Trees and foliage buntings lit up with fairy lights and bulbs, personalized DJ console and foliage bar backdrop further enhanced the decor by multifold. What stood out amidst was the destinations themed seating arrangement planned so thoughtfully and uniquely. All the table settings were named after a destination with a signage board placed at the entrance mentioning whose seat is located at which destination. *unique wedding element alert*
See for yourself!
For their glitzy reception dinner, Saumya chose for herself an attractive Sabyasachi saree in hues of teal and dark blue with intricate embroideries and embellishments. Keeping her hair open, she paired her attire with striking gold jewellery and less makeup. Anuroop whereas, coordinated with her by pairing his black trousers and white shirt with a navy bandhgala jacket by Anita Dongre.
How Anuroop and Saumya met and started on their journey of love is a "dream come true" in every sense. Spilling the beans about their story Saumya narrates,
