I was on Instagram’s explore page when I came across one of the most beautiful weddings I had ever seen. This, my friends, was a wedding which looked exuberant and at the same time super emotional so it was natural that we had to feature it for you guys to read and shed a tear or two.

Introducing our lovely brides of the day - Aveena and Alissa who met on Bumble back in 2017. Back then, Alissa took great care in writing her profile description while Aveena here didn’t even bother reading it. Despite ignoring the profile description, Aveena was the one who messaged Alissa and asked her out on a date as soon as their profiles matched.

About that first date, Aveena says, "Our first date was a dinner that lasted 3.5 hours; we were both amazed by how easily the conversation flowed and that our interests, values, and humour aligned so well." Little did they know that two years after that magical first date, this duo would be falling in love with each other and tying the knot.

For the wedding, welcome bags, Aveena said, "We had created 'Welcome Bags' for all friends/family that travelled from out of the state. It included a handwritten letter from both of us, homemade family jam, a customised deck of cards, coffee beans (from Seattle), and cookies from a company in Minnesota (where I am from)."

#AlissaandVeeBecomeWe got married on 12th October 2019 in a beautiful hall. Aveena wore a breathtaking beige and golden lehenga while Alissa wore a stunning strappy trail white gown. And, we have to say that the best part about this wedding was when Alissa looked at Aveena at that wedding lehenga, she got so emotional that she started crying. If this isn’t true love, then we honestly don’t know what is!

Right from the moment both of these brides walk down the aisle to the one where they say, “I do” you’re gonna be in awe cos it is an emotional roller coaster. There are so many emotions flowing in that room that we have to hold our tissue boxes close.

#AlissandVeeBecomeWe wedding was followed by a reception dinner where this duo’s nearest and dearest were present to celebrate their love story and after that, the whole wedding party got to dancing their hearts out! 

There are some love stories which make you want to root for love and this story is indeed one of them!

Incredible!

Palbasha is amazing and very friendly. We all enjoyed her artwork! She was able to accommodate everyone that wanted a henna tattoo on time. Also, everyone enjoyed watching and was amazed at how fast she was! I would definitely recommend her! And I would use her again in my next future parties!

Florist: Colibri Blooms

Lily was amazing!!! She nailed our vision when it came to the flowers that we wanted to incorporate on our special day! She was so thoughtful and intentional to make sure every single flower was perfectly placed the day of as well as wanting to ensure that she picked high-quality flowers. We loved working with Lily.
